My experience wasn’t what I would’ve hoped. I was quoted that their flat rate was $27-29 dollars an hour and that was just very disheartening to hear when most working average working Americans are barely making $25 in this economy. I just wanted help for my mom and simply just can’t afford it. Not to mention their was no one at the Homewood location and the office hours aren’t on the door. Google has the address to that location without the operation hours. But 24/7 care line which is conflicting information.

If you need great care, this is definitely a place you should check out. Everyone who answers the phone is super sweet. We have a care team of two lovely girls. So if one needs off we have a replacement we know.

The entire staff was wonderful. They were very accommodating. They worked with our family’s schedule. They always stayed late if I needed them to do so. They went above and beyond the call of duty!

Victoria is a wonderful as well as professional caregiver. She attends to all the personal hygiene needs of my husband. She also prepares great meals for his lunch. We always look forward to having her in our home to assist with my husband’s healthcare.

So impressed by Amada. The owners and entire staff are incredibly informative. When I start learning about in home senior care, i didn’t really know where to start or who to trust. Amada looked out for me and my family at every turn, going above and beyond even when it seems against their interests but was absolutely the best for my family service. While they do so much more, from helping us secure VA and Long-term care insurance benefits, Amada is by far the best sitting service in Birmingham and Alabama. Couldn’t more highly recommend!

Mrs. Valerie Tate is a very good caregiver. She always on time never miss a day of work
She does her light cleaning, prepares meals, wash clothes, run errands
She has a listening ear

This agency has gone above and beyond for my family and I. Even with very last minute changes (from us) Amada has been able to keep up and still provide us with the most trained and certified CNAs. We had the pleasure of speaking with Tamaya in scheduling she’s really a joy to talk to. You’re sure to get a laugh when speaking with her or their office administrator Mitchelle ! Amada evenhelped us set up a meeting for our new caregiver to come out and meet our loved one. She was able to get acquainted with our routine and she’s been with us ever since! AMADA makes sure to send us a weekly schedule every week so we are always in the know of who’s coming and when. We absolutely LOVE Amada.

If you are looking or questioning if you should sign up with Amada, do it ! They have the most wonderful staff members I’ve encountered with caregiving agencies. I had the pleasure of speaking with the clients care manager (shuntel) and she was able to answer every question me and my wife had. We weren’t put on hold or anything. Amazing ! They are also 24/7 so you can literally call them at anytime. After speaking with Shuntel she got us signed up and handed us over to their Amazing scheduling manager Tamaya. She stays on top of every change that needs to be made and gives us the most on point updates without us even asking! If you’re looking for a caregiving agency that feels like family? Go with them! They are professionals and will hold your hand along the whole process.

Me and my mom absolutely love Amada! The customer service we got from the office was so heartfelt and warm. I specifically spoke with Tamaya in scheduling. She was able to answer all of my many questions with joy. She sounded extremely excited to help us out with my mom’s schedule. We would pick Amada all over again simply based off the customer service! They also have amazing caregivers as well!
