We had a wonderful experience with Amada. Bree and Sherry communicated with me regularly about my dad’s care and worked as a team to get his needs met. They were kind and thoughtful. My dad had to move to assisted living and we will miss them.
Thanks so much to Amada Senior Care, especially to Chris and Rebecca who helped me deal with the insurance company to file paperwork. The caregivers were exceptional and helped make the time my husband was able to spend at home with the family as "normal" as was possible.
I want to thank everyone who helped with my husbands care, and all the help you and Rebecca gave me in dealing with the insurance company. I would be happy to recommend your company to anyone in need of home health care. Thanks again.
I just called the office and spoke with Chris, the owner, to let him know how much I love the service and help I am receiving from my caregiver, Robert. He is so patient with me and helps me around the house. I don't know what I would do without him!
The AMADA Senior Care agency is FABULOUS !!
Professional, reliable, punctual, compassionate, caring, kind, personable, helpful, and organized.
Rebecca came on time, with a wheelchair -- and blankets!
I would not have been able to attend my dear friend's graveside funeral service without your help, and I am SO very appreciative.
This company is a great TEAM to work with..
Louise is the most caring caretaker ever. Rebecca and Brandy are responsive right away for coordinating any needs.
For some seniors, an assisted living community that offers non-complex medical services may be a good fit and may continue to provide a high quality of life. Others may require more support, and their well-being may be better served in a nursing home or care community that offers a wider variety of health and senior services.

We’ve seen it too many times: Veterans, their spouses and their families, who are unaware of their potential eligibility for financial assistance from the government based on their time serving in the military. At Amada Senior Care St. Louis, we help individuals eligible for VA Aid and Attendance benefits take full advantage of these hard-earned resources.

How is Aid and Attendance Eligibility Determined?
1. Military Service
- The applicant must have served a minimum of 90 days of active duty, and at least one of those active duty days must have taken place during wartime.
- The applicant cannot have been dishonorably discharged.
2. Personal Care Needs
- Applicant must currently require assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as walking, eating, toileting, or dressing, at the time of their application.
3. Income
- The majority of the applicant’s income must currently go toward care expenses.
- The percentage of applicant income that is currently spent on care is what will determine the level of benefits they receive.
4. Assets
- The VA will determine the acceptable threshold for applicants’ assets.
- Age and financial need will largely determine financial assets.
How VA Aid and Attendance Benefits can Help You:
VA Aid and Attendance benefits help veteran seniors and/or their spouses gain more financial flexibility around placements and care plans. For example, a veteran may qualify for:
- The community of their choice.
- More in-home care.
- Benefits that are paid monthly — no repayment required.
- Tax-free benefits that are paid directly to claimants by the United States Treasury.
