We had a very good experience with Amada over a period of about 5 months. Our parents lived at home (and were adamant about staying in their home) but were experiencing both physical and cognitive limitations requiring in-home care. We selected Amada and the team did an outstanding job from top to bottom, – Tom (owner) and Veronica (manager) were personally very attentive. It truly mattered to them that our parents received high quality, compassionate care. The caregivers themselves were kind, compassionate and competent. They provided not only a high standard of care, but also made sure the household ran smoothly, was kept clean and cooked nice meals for my parents. They were simply amazing. My parents bonded with them and were comfortable with having them in their home (no easy feat, that). Ultimately, my parents required round the clock care and Amada stepped up. My siblings and I are grateful for the professionalism, compassion and quality of care that my parents received from Amada. It made a huge difference in their quality of life at the end of their lives.

Amada Senior Care did an amazing job providing the care that my wife and I needed. We were super fortunate in having one caregiver for Al but the first few months. Maxine was kind, compassionate and was a great companion in addition to her caregiver role. When there were times that we needed extra coverage especially towards the end all I had to do was pick up the phone and explain what I needed and Amada was able to provide the additional assistance we needed. All the caregivers that came to our home were also kind and caring as well as experienced. I especially liked the fact that Amada caregivers are experienced with care and are able to offer good suggestions as potentially easier or better ways to do something. I always felt comfortable leaving the house to run errands or play pickleball knowing my wife was in excellent hands. I strongly recommend Amada Senior Care for all your needs

I live in South Carolina and my mother lives in Jacksonville, Florida. She was beginning to need some home healthcare and Tom and Veronika from Amada Senior Care met with my mother. She had already cancelled her long-term healthcare policy because she didn’t think that she could afford the 90-day elimination period. They filled out the paperwork and worked with the long-term healthcare company and were able to get her policy reinstated. We have a wonderful lady, Joanne, that comes to my mother’s home to help her. She has only been coming for a month, but she is doing an awesome job with her and my mother loves her as if they have known each other for years! Veronika also recommended and helped my mother get into a skilled nursing rehab facility after she had to go into the hospital for a few days. It is a wonderful facility. Veronika was home on Labor Day and we must have spoken over the phone 6 or 7 times that day. Tom and Veronika have been a God send! I didn’t know anything about home healthcare, skilled nursing, etc. and they were able to recommend and facilitate everything for me. They also recommended someone who could install grab bars and handrails in my mother’s home. They were such a big help, and I could never thank them enough for what they have done for my mother! You won’t go wrong if you contact them to help your loved ones!

Amada Senior Care has always been there for my family in our time of need. We have used them multiple times to care for our father who has dementia. I called Tom at 4pm on a Sunday afternoon from the hospital, desperate and having been awake for 36 hours. He answered the phone, asked for 30 minutes and was able to setup a caregiver that gave us the relief my brother and I needed. Since that time, Amada has been strong companions for my father as he regains his strength. I would highly recommend their service and their caregivers.

Tom Nicholson and his team took care of our mother for the last six months of her life under demanding circumstances. Wheelchair bound with numerous health issues required patient , well trained and attentive staff. The situation the staff was faced with every day was multi – faceted but they handled it with gentle loving care and a positive attitude regardless of the challenges. This year, my family used the services of Amada’s in-home health aides for two months on a daily basis to look after a loved one in poor health. The aides were respectful and supportive in helping with companion services for someone in need of assistance with most activities of daily living. I would recommend this company to those families who have similar needs.

We were very pleased with the prompt response and the senior care service we received. The caregivers were all very professional & polite, always willing to assist in whatever was needed & made my Mom feel comfortable & safe during her rehab at her home.

The amount of caring and personal service we received from Tom and his entire staff was more than anything I could have imagined or hoped for. They took care of my mother in a wonderful way that will never be forgotten. She was struggling and they completely turned her around. Gloria was simply awesome on a daily basis. Tom answered every question I had and helped me with all our paperwork. He met with me one-on-one when requested. I’m a retired police officer and it’s not easy to win me over. Tom was more than successful in that area. I would recommend his company to anyone. He can feel free to use me as a reference any time. If you or a loved one needs the type of personal care that his folks offer, I wholeheartedly recommend them without question. You won’t go wrong.

Excellent company. They will work with you to find the best solution. I believe they really care about your loved one and do everything they can, to provide consistent, professional service. My mother was super resistant at first, but Amada worked with us to accommodate mom’s needs. I’ve been working with Amada Senior Care in Jacksonville, FL since late February 2021 to care for my step-mother throughout my father’s hospitalization and gradual recovery after a fall in his home. We recently increased the work scope for home health care to include my father who recently came home to receive hospice care. The franchise owner Tom N. has been extremely helpful in working with my parents’ insurance, scheduling aides throughout the week, providing referrals for in-home skilled nursing, and communicating with me regularly. I would recommend Amada Senior Care to anyone in the Jacksonville area who needs a certified nursing assistant or home health aide to assist their loved one in their home.
