Many Veterans and their families are unaware of the care-related benefits available through the Department of Veterans Affairs. Participants will learn:

  • An overview of VA care-based and financial benefit programs available to Veterans and their families.
  • Basic eligibility requirements for services.
  • How home and community-based programs can help Veterans remain independent.
  • How VA benefits may work alongside other care and support resources.
  • Where to find trusted information and assistance.

About the Speaker:

Jes Moore, Client Care Manager at Amada Senior Care and a former Army National Guard member, is dedicated to serving seniors and helping veterans access the benefits they have earned. More than 300,000 veterans live in Minnesota, yet many are unaware of VA programs such as Homemaker and Home Health Aide Care, Respite Care, and Aid & Attendance.

These benefits can help cover care costs, support family caregivers, and help veterans remain safe, independent, and comfortable at home. Amada Senior Care helps veterans and their families understand their options, navigate the VA process, and access available resources.
