This informative session will provide practical guidance on VA Healthcare enrollment, disability compensation, Aid & Attendance, home and community-based services, and other important resources that may help eligible Veterans pay for care and support as needs change.
Participants will learn to:
- Identify key VA healthcare, care-based, and financial benefit programs available to Veterans and their families.
- Understand eligibility requirements for VA Healthcare, disability compensation, and Aid & Attendance benefits.
- Explain how the Veterans Health Administration (VHA) and Veterans Benefits Administration (VBA) work together to support Veterans’ healthcare and financial needs
- Describe home and community-based services available through VA programs, including homemaker, home health aide, respite care, and Community Care services.
- Identify practical pathways and resources for enrolling in VA Healthcare and accessing earned benefits.
