Amada Senior Care San Antonio West
Rick Stockton, owner of Amada Senior Care San Antonio West, says that his experience in healthcare sparked his desire to provide quality care to seniors in our community, including New Braunfels, Seguin, San Antonio, Kerrville, Bandera, Lake Medina, and beyond. Rick says, “I’ve been fortunate—both my parents and my wife Tracy’s parents are still living independently at home and are relatively healthy. We have had a few health-related issues in the past 12 months, but were always able to get the care our parents needed, and now they are happy to be back at home.”
“Over the course of the 10 years I have spent in healthcare, I realize that not every family is as fortunate as mine has been when it comes to quality senior care. Having seen the difference high-quality care can make in a senior’s life made me realize that’s what I wanted to provide for our West San Antonio neighbors. And here at Amada Senior Care, that’s what we’re all about. We’ll do everything we can to help you or your loved one remain independently at home.”
At Amada Senior Care San Antonio West, we realize that we need to look beyond everyday tasks like cooking and light housekeeping to find meaningful ways to enrich our client’s lives. This may mean that we make a special sandwich for a client’s lunch, or rent a favorite movie for them to watch, or even help a client get in touch with an old friend. It’s thoughtful actions and gestures like these that bring smiles to our clients’ faces and brighten their days—because what good is living at home if your life there is not enjoyable and fulfilling?
When our senior clients are no longer safe or comfortable living at home, we work with families to find the best senior housing option to meet their needs in the West San Antonio area. We also help families find the best way to pay for the high-quality care their loved ones deserve.
At Amada Senior Care San Antonio West, our goal is to support our clients and their families through all aspects of senior care with compassion and wisdom. We understand how overwhelming it can feel to find the right senior care for your loved one, but with Amada Senior Care San Antonio West, you’ll always have a friend to guide you.

Just wanted you all to know that without Veronica and the girls there my mother would be in a nursing home and she would not be happy about that. Veronica keeps everything running as smooth as one can when dealing with elderly sometimes not so happy folks. I cant imagine having to do that... Mom know that she has angels taking care of her and we both super appreciate that... thank you.
I am a Amanda employee and I can honestly say that working for amada is like working with family, I've never worked for a company that takes not only great care of their clients but their employees as well, I wouldn't wanna work anywhere else now
Used sitters 5 nights while husband was at Powerback nursing facility. Rick is super - responsive, involved, willing to go the extra mile to set up a plan that works. Thanks!!!
This is an emotional decision for everyone involved, and our goal at Amada Senior Care in San Antonio West is to guide families through the placement process with wisdom, empathy and competence.
For some seniors, an assisted living community, typically offering non-complex medical services, may be a good fit. Others may require a bit more support and may be better served in a nursing home or different type of care community.
The team at Amada Senior Care San Antonio West has years of experience with senior care in New Braunfels, Seguin, San Antonio, Kerrville, Bandera, Lake Medina, and beyond. As a result, we have deep knowledge of all local care communities and can make sure our clients find the ideal placement to suit their care needs, locations, lifestyles, and budgets.
We also rely on our extensive experience to help our clients make full use of all benefits available to them, including veterans’ benefits and Long-Term Care Insurance benefits. The costs of assisted living may intimidate many families, but we can help them make financial decisions with confidence. To further ease cost concerns, the Amada San Antonio West team is pleased to offer its placement services free of charge.
When in-home care is no longer ideal for our clients, we are honored to guide them through this next phase. Our specialty is referring seniors to the right community or placement for them, which may include:
- Assisted living communities
- Large and small communities
- Independent living communities
- Board and care homes
- Adult family homes
- Senior care homes
- Skilled nursing facilities
- Alzheimer/dementia communities
Many of our veterans, their spouses and their families may not be aware of their potential eligibility for financial assistance from the government. At Amada Senior Care San Antonio West, we are dedicated to helping individuals eligible for VA Aid and Attendance benefits and other forms of financial support take full advantage of these resources.
