It’s a pleasure to express a few comments about my outstanding caregiver, Ashley Eck. She is excellent at anticipating care needs, almost before I had thought of or expressed a need. She gets along well with on the occasions when their services coincide or they overlap. To choose between caregivers is like like choosing between apples and oranges because I like them both which speaks well for the quality of the staff at Amada Senior Care. All that said I feel that Ashley is a real gem among the members of the professional staff.
Amada’s home caregiver provided many years of happy, kind, thoughtful, necessary and helpful care to our mother in her final years of deteriorating health and as a family we could not have done it without them.
Both of my mom’s caregivers—Seneca and Belen—are amazing:. They’re kind and skilled and patient. Mom has become quite fond of and close to both women. She enjoys their visits and also benefits from their help.
Everyone at Amada was so helpful and caring. I was very nervous having unknown people come into my house at all hours. But I felt very comfortable as soon as I met all the caregivers. They were very kind and professional in appearance and behavior.When I needed to make a phone call to Amada the staff always answered immediately. They sent weekly notices so I knew who would be coming. Daniel and Javier were my two main caregivers and we were very happy with them. They always arrived on time and were very easy to talk to with both me and my sick husband. They became part of the family. They were also very good with our dog. Amada Senior Care was very helpful in providing care to my mother following a hospital stay. They were easy to work with and tried to match caregivers that fit my mom’s needs. They helped her with things around the house and took her out into the community on errands and appointments when necessary. The office staff was prompt with communication, and would always contact me if there were scheduling issues or something to discuss regarding my mom’s care. Caregivers Missy and Espie were favorites of my mom’s, they were very helpful and friendly and she felt comfortable having them in her house. Having Amada caregivers gave me and my siblings some peace of mind knowing they were with our mom and able to help her as needed. We would use them again in the future if necessary.

As my husband and I aged we realized we both had health issues we could no longer help on our own and needed more help. We did get a care agency to come in but the one we chose did not fit us well and we decided to change agencies. We found Amada Senior Care and were so happy we changed. They have helped in so many ways. With Long Term care for my husband and Veterans benifits as well. My husband was in and out of the hospital and the care givers we had, Laura and Ysabel helped and cared for us in all of the times we went through. Such a wonderful company. I Highly recommend! It’s a very difficult time in both patients and families lives. Amada was terrific through the entire process from start to finish! Each person we met was great! Rebecca and Sarah stood out in front. So concerned in seeing to it that we had help, that my dad was cared for and comfortable with the upmost respect! Sarah was there the day my father passed. She arrived as he was being taken to the mortuary. She didn’t have to, she could have gone home, yet she stayed and consoled our family in the most difficult time and experience of our lives. She shared tears with us and provided such great comfort. It is wonderful to know that there are people out there who treat you and your loved ones as far more than someone to get money from. My father was treated as more than a case. Thank you Amada! This is a fantastic agency that is taking such great care of my Mother. We have a team that truly is 5 star, and my Mom and I are truly grateful for the wonderful, caring home health aids….Ema, Addisen and Alicia are all top notch. Also, when my mom came back from the emergency room, Amada found help immediately for her extra care.
Amada has been so helpful in getting my grandfather from the hospital with caregiving services. They have accommodated shift changes and last minute schedule changes. The staff has made this difficult situation a little less difficult. They are flexible and communicate multiple ways that make it easy to get ahold of someone and updates quickly.
My elderly father needed some basic care for a couple of years prior to his recent passing. The staff was always very friendly and helpful. Each week they provided me with a schedule so I knew who was there on any given day.
I hired Amada during a very stressful period when my father suddenly needed a caregiver. My mom and I have been very grateful how easy Amada made the process of getting a wonderful caregiver. Jessica, our caregiver, is kind, dependable, and very good with my dad. We also like that Amada staff is accessible and caring.

It was very expensive and preaching consistency never happened. When the regular girl went on vacation I was never notified. I was never told that a holiday rate went up from $42 to $63. This company sucks you dry. The only reason I didn’t say 1 star, was because they were nice on the phone.
I was pleased with the caretakers Amada sent to my home.They arrived on time, were well groomed, professionally dressed and easy to get along with. Yes, some were better than others as there were a few who only did the minimum which was to take care of me and others who made sure everything was in order, changed bedding and did laundry, cleaned up the kitchen after preparing meals and loaded the dishwasher, swept and mopped the floor. Mimi consistently kept everything in order, did laundry, and even would make me an afternoon snack. The Amada caretakers responded to my needs. I hope I do not require service of this nature again, but if I do, I would hire Amada.
We have had several care givers from Amada for the last 5 weeks and they have all been great but Emily stands out the most. She is excellent! Always going above and beyond and doing little things not on the care plan like shaving my dad and then charging his razor, helping my dad when their assisted living was very slow to respond, giving my mom flowers on Mothers Day, hugging my mom when she leaves, leaving me notes about things going on, telling me about dads medication schedule, etc. You can tell that she does care giving because she enjoys doing it and not just because it is a paycheck. My dad is getting better and we are ending Amada care soon but will definitely be calling Amada if we need care again and specifically requesting Emily!
I want to let you know that Lizbeth Gallardo is an excellent caregiver. She is very energetic and does everything without being asked. She is the best caregiver that works for you. I’d like to thank Amada Senior Care for their responsive and compassionate care for my father. I had to coordinate care from out of state and Angela and her team made what felt like a heavy task to facilitate became quite easy. I received regular updates and felt very comfortable in their screening process. All kind and compassionate people. They helped care for my grandfather when he returned home from a post acute care facility. The owner and office staff were helpful and quick to respond to our needs and the caregiver was patient, kind, respectful and helpful.
Amada Senior Care was our second attempt at securing dependable care for my grandmother. They listened to our needs and got us consistent staffing with familiar faces. They check in regularly to ensure our satisfaction. Notify us of any upcoming changes. Nothing happens last minute. We really appreciate Marina in particular for forming a bond and anticipating my grandmother’s needs. She was hesitant in wanting help in the beginning and now she looks forward to her time with Marina.
After my 92 year old father had a stroke and we found that rehabilitation wasn’t going to work, my brothers and I wanted to honor my dad’s wish to return home and finish his days there. Choosing an in home senior care partner is not easy. It really comes down to reviews (which is why I am leaving this one) and the connection that the caregivers will have with your loved one. In our case, we were blessed to have an amazing caregiving team (my dad needed 24 hour care). This team coordinated with Providence Hospice (which was also amazing) to monitor my dad’s status each and every day. There were days that we were there to witness the type of care that he received, and we couldn’t have been more pleased with the people that cared for dad. I specifically want to mention Sayra B. She and my dad got along so well. She was so sweet with him and he was so agreeable with her. It was touching to listen to. Also, Albert A., who had a different connection with my dad, sharing stories of growing up and common interests, provided male companionship that my dad enjoyed. He was great with my dad. In addition, Laurann N. and Silvia O, who handled many of the “sunset” hours with grace and care. It wasn’t easy, but they were patient and made it look easier than it was. Lastly, thank you, Angela, for taking every one of my phone calls, for being there to have frank conversations, and for being so responsive through every change in my dad’s condition right to the very end. You and Michael lead a great company and my family and I will be forever grateful.
Amada’s care was top notch for my mom and was a great bridge for her prior to moving to memory care which she did last month. Hannah in particular created a special bond with her and you could see my mom’s face light up whenever she showed up. The last few months were quite stressful for us and Hannah provided peace of mind that my mother was being well taken care of. Thank you!
