At Amada Memphis/Desoto County, it is our goal to meet all of a senior’s care needs and to surpass their expectations with our integrity and great service. If we are providing in-home care for a senior, we go the extra mile with activities of daily living such as cooking and light housekeeping to enhance our client’s life in the most significant ways we can. This could mean reading a book to your loved one, completing a craft with your loved one, baking your loved one’s favorite cookies, or even helping your loved one keep his or her garden tidy. By adding these personal touches to the care provided, we are showing our clients that we are invested in the process of enhancing their quality of life.
When home is no longer the ideal environment for a senior, we will use our expertise to guide you to the assisted living environment that ideally suits your unique needs and preferences. We also continue to check in on clients who have moved to senior housing communities to ensure they have transitioned well.

Marquita was quite willing to do anything I asked for and did so with a smile. She checked on my every 90-120 minutes and showed up on time. Would love to have her again if needed.
After our mother passed, Amada provided 24 hour sitter service for our father (who’s health was also failing and he could not take care of himself). Amada stepped up to the challenge with short notice and provided excellent care and allowed him to be able to stay in his home as he wished until his passing. I would highly recommend their services and staff.
Amada is a truly exceptional organization. My husband is facing mjultiple health issues, and Amada has been an amazing support syystem, enabling us to keep him at home. Managewrs and caregivers alike are professional, competent and skilled, remarkably dependable, but even more they are kind, giving , warm and generous. Everyone was sensitive to our needs, and made us all feel comfortable and appreciated. Thank you Amada, and for anyone facing the difficult choice of a carefgiver, you cannot go wrong with Amada.
This is an emotional decision for everyone involved, and our goal at Amada Senior Care in Memphis is to guide families through the placement process with wisdom, empathy and competence.
For some seniors, an assisted living community, typically offering non-complex medical services, may be a good fit. Others may require a bit more support and may be better served in a nursing home or different type of care community.

We also rely on our extensive experience to help our clients make full use of all benefits available to them, including veterans’ benefits and Long-Term Care Insurance benefits. The costs of assisted living may intimidate many families, but we can help them make financial decisions with confidence.
