In October of 2018, one of my oldest and dearest friends had ovarian cancer and was put on hospice. Her best girlfriends, siblings and mom took care of her as best we could until it became just too much for all of us. It became more important for her to have the best care and we felt that began falling through the cracks because of our everyday lives. That’s when I called my college friend, Tracey Bissett at Amada Care. I knew she would take care of her like a daughter, sister and friend with the respect and care she deserved! Amada Care came in and worked with Hospice daily as well as all of her friends and family. We were all treated as important members of the family. Her main caregiver was will us until the end and held all our hands every step of the way. I can’t say enough good things about them. The family even used Amada Care for her mother’s care after her death. Amada Care will always be a beacon of light during such a dark time.......
I cannot overstate my happiness with Tracey, Jennifer, Alma, and everyone at Amada. They were always available and attentive, and seemed genuinely interested in my mother's well-being. It is never easy to deal with a person that has advanced dementia, yet they never wavered. They became much like family very quickly, and certainly always treated my mother as if she was part of their family.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We enjoy working with your mother and your family so much. She has been a joy to be with. Please know that we are always here for your mother. Thank you again, and please spread the word about Amada!
