In-Home Health Care
Eric vanGoethem, owner of Amada Senior Care Dallas, has made it his mission to help seniors live safely and comfortably in the comfort of their own homes. Eric deeply empathizes with families who have experienced the vulnerability and uncertainty of seeing a loved one battle a disease. He watched his father quickly deteriorate from Creutzfeldt-Jakob Disease—a rare, degenerative prion disease that attacks the brain and is always fatal. Eric says, “I watched my mom become my dad’s caregiver and saw the toll that it took on her physically and emotionally while trying to still be the loving, supporting wife that she had been over 40 years—it drained her for years to come. Had we known and understood the benefits of in-home caregivers at the time, I know we would have navigated that difficult time of transition more smoothly.”
Chief Operating Officer Sabrina vanGoethem’s own family experiences sparked her interest in making a difference in seniors’ lives. She is inspired by her mother, who has been working as a caregiver for years in San Antonio. Hearing her mother’s stories of feeling fulfilled by her work and witnessing her passion for being a caregiver, Sabrina developed her enthusiasm for providing in-home senior care. Says Sabrina, “I just loved hearing her stories from her clients—they have experienced much change in their lives, and it was fascinating to listen.”

My mother was able to stay in her independent living apartment because of Stacey and her ladies. They were sent from God to help with my mother! And they even showed up during the ice storm. Stacey made the arrangements for periodic assistance so easy and was always accessible to assist with any extra assistance needed. I can't say enough good things.
After vetting other home care agencies we selected Amada Home Care Dallas for our needs. Eric was professional, prompt, courteous and thorough in assessing our needs and provided us with a customized care plan. Just as important he was flexible in making changes to the plan as our circumstances evolved.
They are a knowledgeable and professional company with reasonable prices.
Eric came out and spoke with us regarding my Mother's needs. He was so kind, patient, and detailed with things I didn't even know to ask. I feel my Mom is in good hands with this company.
