Non-medical caregiving for U.S. veterans includes a range of supportive services that enhance their daily lives and overall well-being. This can involve assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as meal preparation, housekeeping, transportation to appointments, and companionship to combat loneliness. Caregivers can also provide emotional support, help with managing schedules, and offer respite care for family members. Additionally, they may assist with errands, mobility support, and engaging veterans in social and recreational activities to promote a sense of community and purpose. These services ensure that veterans maintain their independence while receiving the care and attention they deserve.

I am a 75 year old male, wheelchair-bound stroke client and have received long-term care from Amada for almost 10 months now. The staff has been outstanding, and I have met all of my changing needs while I am on hospice. I receive personalize care on a daily basis, and even get calls from the staff to see how I am doing, and if all my needs are met. I never thought I would be in this situation, where I would be unable to take care of myself, but I can go to sleep each night Knowing that Amada is there for me at any time. I think the most important word and their company name is Care, because they do that on a daily basis!

Honestly this is an amazing place!! They go above and beyond for clients and staff. Office staff is warm and welcoming. I highly recommend this place for all those who need 24 hour care or 2 hour care. They will meet all of your needs. Your loved ones will be in great hands when choosing Amada.

company sucks not good caregivers and doesn’t have enough staff stay away!! They also lie and say they offer service Tacoma area when they really don’t. Elizabeth is rude and was no help to me or my situation.
