There’s much to say about this family operated agency. Moving my mother in law to San Antonio from Northern California came with more complications than we knew to prepare for. Her transfer from nursing homes was not only a fail but a nightmare. Once it was time to get back to work we already knew Amada was the agency to call for help with Bonnie. We had no idea how much more they would help assist with. With her move to Texas it was quiet difficult to get her therapy approved by her new insurance, thankfully with administrative oversight and open communication the office has with their caregivers along with the family portal access and their professional documentation we were able to prove her therapy needs for the insurance. Something I don’t believe would’ve been accomplished without being an Amada Client. Between visits from our senior advisor to our social worker not once did we feel unsupported in guidance from choosing the right rehab to making sure we had the resources to get properly functioning medical equipment. From little to no notice from short term services to extended service we had a good bunch of caregivers, that met all of Bonnie’s needs and consistent updates from the office should anyone be running late or not returning. At anytime we had changes or concerns we were always kept updated within a reasonable timeframe. All of the staff had great attitudes, eagerness to help, and were well presented. Bonnie initially moved in with us not able to ambulate without her wheelchair, unable to shower without assistance and could only bare weight for quick moments to now being at a top notch inpatient facility with inspiring progress! She can now walk over 300ft, shower on her own, hold a stance, and even took a few steps up the stairs today. She wouldn’t be hitting these goals without the close support from Our Amada Family. If your loved one just needs a short time to get better or an everyday caregiver to help improve their quality of life we would 100million% recommend this agency to any and everyone! In December 2025 my parents ages 92 and 93 and our family all met with Jeremy and Lori from Amada to review my parent’s long-term health insurance policy, to understand what type of coverage they had and how to utilize the policy. From the first meeting to establish a care plan for my mother, Jeremy was respectful of our time, thorough and ultimately delivered on promises to find a caregiver that would meet my mother’s needs. Mimi and Evelyn and our caretaker Claudia, were very friendly, thorough as well, and again made sure they could meet the goals set for my mother. Claudia is AMAZING! She is decades younger, but you’d think she and mom were long-time friends. There are many times I hear the two of them giggling off in the distance. Claudia is gentle with mom, and treats her with great respect, loving care, and all the attention she needs. She is just fantastic! It’s so rare, and very nice to find a company that is compassionate about caregiving. I highly recommend them.

A woman by the name of Ingrid acted very unprofessional and very rude, she would not and did not accept my Social Security Card that was given to me by the Social Security Administration Office many years ago. I asked Ingrid in HR to please give me a letter on why she refused to use my Social Security Card to take into the Social Security Office to show them why Ingrid refused to us my social security card and Ingrid said no. This woman Ingrid has no business being in the Human Resource Department for singling me out from being employed.
If I could give more than 5 stars I would. I was in great need of help taking care of my loved one. I was not equipped to provide the care needed and I was scared I would do something wrong. I reached out to Amada for help and they were wonderful! They were not only there to help w/ my loved one, but they also supported me and my family. I am eternally grateful for them!
