Amada Senior Care was very helpful to our Dad . Our Dad was a veteran in the US Navy and Amada is very supportive of our veterans. Although he only used their (Amada’s) services for about 6 months, in 2024, the entire staff was so professional, supportive, and kind to our Dad and to our family. We were thankful he was able to live in his home as long as he could with Amada’s support and care. When it became apparent that he needed long term care and we needed him to relocate and be closer to family the Amada team really went above and beyond the call of duty to assist me w/ getting even more Veteran assistance. Amada has been helping my 88 year old mother several hours a week for a couple years now. She has been blessed with well-trained aids who provide high quality service that has consistently exceeded our expectations. Along the way, there have been standouts too. This past month, health challenges have accelerated on two significant fronts. Julia, a longtime favorite of my mother’s, has really stepped up in this difficult time. She is both very professional and at the same time genuinely kind to my mother whose frustrations have elevated during these new challenges. Julia is a very hard worker who has endeared herself to my mom and our family. Greg Johnson was so helpful in finding my 91 year old aunt the perfect caregivers after her complete hip replacement surgery. My mom had a stroke in January of 2022. This left her with difficulty walking and mobility issues causing a need to help with lifting and transferring her. After a year of using another company with results we weren’t satisfied with, mom and I decided to call other companies to make a change. Greg and Kristi visited us at mom’s house and we very quickly knew we’d be hiring Greg and the Amada company. This has been the best decision we’ve made in mom’s care. Qemar, Emmy, Naijah, Brandy and Dee have all taken incredibly good care of mom and she always looks forward to spending time with them. They have been so gentle and encouraging and always take an active role in knowing what mom wants to watch on TV, doing crossword puzzles and encouraging her exercises. Greg himself has taken care of mom and was absolutely amazing and that shows the kind of man he is when as the owner of the company, he will take care of the seniors under his company’s care. My mind is at ease when I’m at work, knowing my mom is in the best of hands. We would recommend Amada 1000% percent to everyone and mom feels as though she’s part of an extended family.
I work for the state in helping a vulnerable population and finding suitable, yet compassionate care is not easy. Amada was a shining light at the end of a long tunnel. Greg and his team were extremely personable and made the entire process so easy. Most important I could tell he cared immensely about the quality of care that’s being provided and the overall satisfaction and safety of our older friends needing care. I’m so glad I found Amada and I will be heading straight back to this company every time I’m needing care.
