I was with Amada Senior Care Frederick location for almost 5 years. They were taking care of my disabled daughter. She is nonverbal and bedridden. I told them what I was looking for in a caregiver for my daughter, what I expected and not except and no Male caregivers. And they followed those guidelines. They’ve sent me only Female caregivers, once those caregivers came in. I knew they were the prefect fit for my daughter. My daughter lighted up and it made my day to see her towards people who she didn’t know. When I saw her lighting up the way she did. I knew that she was going to be ok. I did not have to worry about her being cared for. The office staff is great. My daughter had been admitted to the hospital for 2 months and they would call every day to check on her and my family, they showed the love and support that every family needs at that point in time. When you’re not sure what could happen to your child. Coleen is the best. She goes ABOVE AND BEYOND FOR THE FAMILIES!
Caregiving for advanced stage Parkinson’s disease is not easy, so I am very thankful for the devoted, loving, personable Amada employee assigned to us during my husband’s last stage of life. She was so strong and encouraging, taking care of tasks I could never have handled on my own and allowing me free time to do things I hadn’t been able to do for years. The personal attention we received from the staff director herself was also so encouraging and helpful. Both she and the caregiver have remained in contact and are considered dear friends.
Amada Senior Care and all of the caregivers who have provided care for our parents have been WONDERFUL! They are filled with compassion, understanding of our parents’ needs, always available as needed and willing to be flexible for care needs. How they treat their caregivers is not very nice. There is never the same caregiver the turnover rate is very high. The company I’m not happy with and don’t recommend. I see these reviews on here as being fake, keep that in mind.
I can’t say enough about Amada Senior Care, Frederick. I was in need of care for my 91 year old mother. From the first time I called them they have been very helpful and supportive. On the very first visit to my home to evaluate my mom and our situation the owner of the company came out. He took care of the complicated process of applying for mom’s long term care insurance for her. This was totally unexpected and a huge help to me. We then went through the process of having multiple caregivers to find a good fit for us. There were 2 that I didn’t feel were a good fit and they had no problem with that and took them off of our schedule. After finding a few that were a good fit for us they have remained mom’s regular caregivers for the last 5 months. All of the caregivers that are caring for my mom are absolutely wonderful. They not only care for her very well, but they also keep her space very clean, including her bathroom, do her laundry, change her bedding, feed her very well and do the dishes. They are pleasant and always prompt. Another thing that has really impressed me is that they have a client relations manager that comes for a visit to our home once a month to check on how everything is and to make sure we are happy with the care my mom is getting. They go above and beyond to help me and my mom. I’ve heard many horror stories from others about their experiences with companies that provide caregivers and I have to say that my experience with Amada has been top notch.

Amada was always very helpful in finding someone when I needed help. Takes time to find a good fit with the caregiver and the client. Most of the caregivers have been good. And now, thank goodness, we have a set we really like that are regularly on the schedule. We hope that continues.
Amada senior care was there for my family when we needed it most. From the care coordinators, to the schedulers, to the caregivers, all were caring, responsive, and easy to work with. I contacted them late on a Saturday night and they had a caregiver with my loved one by morning. Every caregiver they sent exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend their services and will absolutely use them for any services we may need in the future.
