Excellent In-Home Care in Long Beach, California with Amada Senior Care
Andre and Cyndi Pegus are the owners of Amada Senior Care of Long Beach, California. Their team offers loving senior care to those seniors who need some assistance with activities of daily living as they live independently. With an office in Torrance, this team is proud to serve clients from throughout the South Bay Los Angeles area, including Carson, El Segundo, Hermosa Beach, Lomita, Long Beach, Los Alamitos, Manhattan Beach, Rancho Palos Verdes, Redondo Beach, Seal Beach, and other nearby communities.
For Andre and Cyndi, working with Amada is about much more than caring for seniors in the Long Beach area — it’s a way to make a positive contribution to the community as a whole. Andre says, “I wanted to open a home care business because I wanted to be able to give back to people and taking care of people is a great way to give back.”
Because Andre, Cyndi, and their team at Amada Long Beach are committed to creating positive impacts wherever they are most needed, they find working with clients other caregivers may look at as especially difficult to be the most rewarding. According to Andre, “I’ve found since opening this business that I really like working with hospice and respite care clients. These families couldn’t be more appreciative of the love, care, and concern we show and the ways we help their loved ones during their final days. This is something that makes us feel really, really good.”

Amada Long Beach Home Care Services Offer More
At Amada Long Beach, we approach senior care with a focus on what seniors need, as opposed to what home care services we typically offer. We realize that every senior has unique needs, preferences, and desires, and it is the goal of each one of our care providers to offer the most comprehensive and personalized senior care possible.
When we are brought into a senior’s home to provide in-home care, we seek to go beyond normal caregiver duties like assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs). We offer those services, but we go further by aiming to truly enrich our senior clients’ lives.
Should one of our clients no longer thrive or feel safe in a home care environment, we also work with that senior and their family members or loved ones to find the best assisted living community for them to move to. We also offer support and guidance throughout the transition process. Our expertise in helping clients find the best way to pay for senior care is also always available to our clients. We can help seniors take advantage of Long-Term Care insurance (LTCi) benefits, veterans’ benefits through the VA, and even life insurance policies.
To us, caregiving goes beyond keeping clients safe and comfortable; we want to help seniors thrive and enjoy each day to its fullest.

I can’t say enough about the compassionate care that my mom received from amada. Cindy and Sandy immediately responded to any concerns that we had and always took the time to listen and understand where we were coming from. communicating by from. The caregivers were well trained and caring. Amada helped us keep our mom safe during the Covid lockdowns.
Amada Senior Care was my mothers care giving agency for the last 3 1/2 years or so. Their caregivers were always there for my mother until she passed away. They did everything that needed to be done from day to day, including taking care of her little dog. I don’t know what I would have done without them. My mothers care got complex but they were always able to handle anything that came up.
Amada Senior Care was my top choice when my parents needed care in their home. My father relied on me to select an exceptional agency, I knew that Amada Senior Care would be the best. My mother suffered a major Fall in her kitchen and required an extensive hip surgery and long recuperation period. The concept of bringing caregivers into my parents home was not an easy decision for my father. The staff have been wonderful and attentive. Thank you for giving our family peace of mind.
For some seniors, an assisted living community, typically offering non-complex medical services, can be a good fit. Others may require a bit more support and may be better served in a nursing home near a medical center or in a memory care community.
