I recently engaged Amada for short-term assistance for two weeks following a full knee replacement. I was unsure about my abilities to navigate the routines of life for the first two weeks post-surgery, and my wife's ability to assist me during that period.
Amada provided competent, attentive, and helpful people. They provide assistance in personal tasks and movement, meal preparation, and some lite housework, assisting me when my surgery reduced my capabilities and assisting my wife by helping to reduce the workload of running a home. The staff they provide were also very nice people, pleasant to be around. Hiring Amada for short-term care was a great decision and significantly reduced my post-surgery stress.

It is a very big step to begin looking for outside help when caring for a loved with Alzheimer’s. We had a family member that had used Amada in San Diego and when I had a need for caregivers as my back up for my husband , it was suggest we contact Amada in Torrance.

Cyndi Pegus, when contacted, spent an hour on the phone with me getting to know our situation and how they might help. Sandi came out in person to our home and spent another hour meeting us and going over how the process would go.

We have been with Amada since early June and have been so please with our caregiver and how responsive the whole team has been. So grateful that we have found Amada.

24/7 caregiving to accommodate elderly parent coming home

from hospital who was injured from a fall. They had great

Amada could not have been better. Cyndi and Sandi thoughtfully listened to our situation and created a post-rehab care plan for my mother in law, which was seamlessly executed upon her release. The care she received from the Amada caregivers was A+. They were professional and thoughtful and made a difficult situation much easier.
