Amada Senior Care of Rocky Mount truly lives up to the meaning of their name. When i first met with this agency i was told that Amada means “beloved” and this is displayed in every way. I recently reached out to Amada of Eastern NC to see if they could assist my aunt in dealing with challenges related to care of my uncle as his Alzheimer’s advances. Teresa was absolutely wonderful. After having had a number of impersonal conversations with professionals who left my aunt feeling confused and overwhelmed, Teresa was a breath of fresh air. My aunt described her as “the first person who showed compassion and actually cared about what I’m going through.” I’m grateful to Teresa and Amada and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

We had tried a few other agencies to assist in taking care of daddy in the home for a few hours a day, but the fail rate was extremely high for dependability and compassion. Amada Senior Care’s service has been EXCELLENT in caring for my dad. The caretakers are kind and compassionate but most importantly, dedicated and dependable. Even if the scheduled caretaker wasn’t available, Amada consistently arranged for a replacement promptly. They respond to all concerns quickly! I highly recommend Amada! The caretakers become true friends. :)

Amada Senior Care was there when we needed help for my father! The response time for the first interview to assess our needs and discuss their services was on my schedule. Working full time and living out of town, this was greatly appreciated. The staff is friendly, helpful, approachable and work hard to accommodate individual needs. We had a few issues over the course of time that were each resolved by collaborative effort. I will definitely call again if services are needed and would highly recommend their services to family and friends in search of care providers.

We have been so pleased with Amada’s services thus far. Our mother got Covid and was hospitalized before Christmas. Amada stepped in and found full-time care on a moment’s notice over the holidays. Since then, we have used them to supplement the care that our mother was already receiving. They have been easy to work with and excellent at every turn. Thank you, Amada!

We had very caring and attentive caregivers for our mother from Amada. Occasionally scheduling became challenging but I’m sure that was partly because we needed someone to be with our mother for one week at a time. The staffing coordinator, however was always helpful and kept us abreast of all changes. All things considered I would definitely recommend Amada for care of your loved one.

The staff and caregivers at Amada Senior Care have been outstanding! When we had to face the difficult task of getting in-home care for our mother and then transitioning her to an assisted living facility, Amada was responsive, caring, and extremely helpful throughout the process. Their caregivers are well-trained and Amada made every effort to find a good match between their caregivers and our mother. Our mom has been extremely happy with the care she has received. The staff at Amada understands the issues related to seniors and communicates well with family members. We are so thankful that we found Amada Senior Care and would recommend them to any family that is looking for assistance with a senior family member.

Tracy and her team are wonderful!! They truly go above and beyond to make sure their clients are taken care of. Her staff of caregivers is extremely experienced and professional and feel like part of your family. Having to utilize home care services for a loved one can seem like such a monumental task, but Amada takes all of the stress out of the process to put your mind at ease.
