Amada Senior Care Chester County
Judy Basler and Sheldon Feinberg, owners Amada Senior Care Chester County, are dedicated to enriching the lives of every senior they work with to make them safer, easier and more enjoyable. As Judy says, “At Amada Chester County, we strive to provide the highest quality of care with a sense of warmth, kindness and compassion. Each member of our team is committed to your loved one because to us, they are family. We take pride in knowing that we have enriched the lives of our seniors and also made a positive impact on each of the families we serve.”
Their commitment to excellence is exemplified by Judy becoming both a Certified Demential Professional (CDP) through the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners and a Geriatric Diabetes Certified Professional (GCDP) via NADONA (National Association of Directors of Nursing Administration in Long-Term Care).
One of the many things that we believe sets Amada Senior Care Chester County far above other senior care agencies in this area is our commitment to personalizing the care we provide for each client. All home-care aides may help with tasks like cooking or cleaning, but Amada caregivers strive to go beyond that to make every day special.
Once we get to know each clients’ unique needs, personality and preferences we can find ways to create experiences that mean the most to them. For one senior, this may mean baking cookies from their mother’s recipe together. For another, we might organize a weekly bridge game with old friends or dig up some old jazz records to listen to. When we are able to do things that bring a genuine smile to a client’s face, we know we are providing them with the compassionate care they deserve.
At Amada Chester County, we realize that what we do affects not only our senior clients, but also the people who love them and who worry about them. When a family member has a need you can’t fulfill, it is common to feel frustrated and even helpless. By involving a seniors’ loved ones in our care plans and remaining in frequent communication with them, we gain deeper insight into our clients’ needs and also ease concerns about his or her safety, quality of life and comfort.
It is our intention to guide our clients and their families through all aspects of senior care. If it becomes apparent that a home environment is no longer best for a senior, we help them find the assisted living environment where they will thrive. If a family is concerned about the cost of senior care, we help them take advantage of resources like veterans’ benefits and long-term care insurance to make funding more manageable.

Dear Sheldon and Judy,
Thank you for the excellent care your service provided during our time of need. I will definitely recommend your home care agency to any of my friends who might need care.
Your agency and our caregiver Harrison eased my burden during the last several months. You acted quickly on Christmas Eve to secure care for that evening and there was not one day missed when care was not provided! You have been thoughtful, caring, and personally took care of all of our needs. We are grateful!
There are many words that come to mind when I think about Amada Senior Care of Chester County and the relationship I have had with them for the past several years. The ones that stand out most in my head are dependable, helpful, thoughtful, accommodating, caring, understanding, flexible, organized and quality care. I first used Amada when my father became ill and I was literally in need of immediate help. I had no idea the scope of care that was in front of us, but through my relationship with Judy and Sheldon, we were able to navigate the many unknowns and get my dad the care that he needed. After my father passed away, once again we found ourselves in need of care and support for my mother, and again Judy and Sheldon were there for us and ready to assist. We were able to get my mother an outstanding, one-of-a-kind aide, who took excellent care of her. She became a friend and companion for my mom, and gave us peace of mind. Both my parents were safe and well cared for when we could not be there. Our relationship with Amada helped us accomplish our goals for both of my parents, and for that I am grateful.
I want to thank Judy and Sheldon for your assistance to bring my Dad home from Personal Care. It was a long road with many questions that you had the answers. It was very important to me to have him home with us for as long as possible. You worked tirelessly to find the right caregiver and the right schedule for my family. For the past year, we have had Jean taking care of my Dad and she provided great care and understanding. Please accept my families deepest thanks for all your help!
