I can’t thank you enough for all you did to help make my brother Jim’s life better by ensuring he had the very best care. You were invaluable to me from the very beginning when I first realized that after Jim’s stroke, I could not care for him on my own as I had thought I could. I would not place him into a nursing home! I spoke with several other agencies before I found you, but I was not comfortable with any of them. I didn’t realize that what I needed was live-in help. You recognized that, and that suggestion was so right for the circumstances. You understood what my needs were even when I couldn’t express them myself. Your experience showed in your thoughtful questions to find out what kind of care was needed and how we liked to live our lives. You empathized and understood when I was distressed, when I was depressed, or when I was concerned or unsure. Whatever I needed, you were there for me and my brother. You worked to identify what qualities and skills were necessary to meet our needs and fit in with our home. I was overjoyed when you told me you would have someone start right away. What a relief. I appreciated not having to worry about having coverage. You made sure that happened. There was never a gap in the coverage. You sought the right fit for my brother AND for me. You worked with me as we experienced various aides who were all excellent and skilled until we found the right one for us. Jackie was perfect and became a valued family member for us. She fit in perfectly and was the perfect balance of compassion and skilled care giving. And she could cook! I appreciated that if any issues arose, you were right on top of it. You made my brother’s life so much better, and for that I cannot thank you enough. You made my life so much easier and for that I also also cannot thank you enough. You even knew what I needed when Jim passed. The Spoonful of Love package was perfect and much needed and appreciated. I will not hesitate to request your services again in the future should I have the need.

Judy is compassionate and patient as she helps clients and their family navigate confusing healthcare systems. She offered a lot of helpful advice when transitioning my mom from hospitalization to home. She is responsive and available to questions. The staff at Amada were professional and caring. I felt my mom was safe at home and was being treated kindly by her live-in caretaker. I recommend Amada!

Judy and Shelton made finding care for my aunt so easy and stress free. They really care about their clients. They worked with me thru all the aspects of identifying the degree of care needed, identifying caregivers and setting up schedules. They were always flexible, working around changes I made as needed. Even at the end, when it became apparent my aunt would need more round-the-clock, professional medical care, they still offered to help in locating the right facility for my aunt. I would contact them again, if the need arose and would heartily recommend Amada and Judy and Shelton to anyone looking for in-home caregivers.
