Amada Senior Care Central Pennsylvania
At Amada Senior Care Central Pennsylvania, providing exceptional in-home senior care is priority for each member of the caregiving team. This is closely followed by offering dedicated support to the families of senior loved ones because at Amada, our misson every day is to enrich the lives of others.
Amada Central Pennsylvania Director Victoria Lamas understands that providing the highest quality of senior care not only helps clients and their families, but also contributes to stronger senior populations as a whole. The entire team at Amada Central Pennsylvania is dedicated to supporting their neighbors in Lancaster, York, Harrisburg, Lebanon and the surrounding areas through all aspects of senior care.
The goal of the Amada Central Pennsylvania team is to make sure each family has the support they need when it’s time to investigate senior care. Victoria says, “Years ago my father suffered a very serious fall and my family didn’t know what the outcome would be, but we knew it was possible we’d need to find him some type of care at home. My mother, my siblings and I didn’t even know where to start looking for the best care possible. We didn’t even really know what we needed.”
Now, Victoria sees the same worry and frustration in the eyes of families she works with at Amada in Central Pennsylvania. “So many families find themselves in the same situation, when a parent or grandparent suddenly needs to be taken care of,” she says. “They don’t know where to start, what their options are, or how to go about finding the answers to all of their questions.”
“That’s what Amada is here for. We’re here to help you start the process, find out what is best for your loved one and for you, and help you explore all of the options available to you. For us, it’s about supporting one another and creating a strong sense of community.”
At Amada Central Pennsylvania, our mission is to provide the right senior care solution for each family’s unique situation. For some families, that means matching them with the home-care aide who can assist a senior with activities of daily living and enrich their lives with compassionate and personalized attention. For some seniors, living at home is no longer the best option, so we work with those families to find the best assisted living community for their loved one. And for most of the families we work with here at Amada, the cost of senior care is a major concern. We are experts at helping clients and their families explore resources like long-term care insurance, veterans’ benefits, and even life insurance policies to help make senior care more affordable.
Whatever your family’s senior care needs are, the family at Amada Central Pennsylvania is here to guide and support you.

I have been working for Amanda for over 2 years now and I can say they are by far, the best agency in the area. Communication is great, clients are wonderful and you get the feeling that they do care about you and your success.
This is the second time my family has used Amada Senior Care from my first initial contact with them it has been nothing but a positive experience. The caregivers go out of their way to make my family feel like a part of theirs if there has been a family emergency they have always been able to provide another caregiver. I would recommend them to anyone
We have used Amada for several years now. We have an adult son with cerebral palsy and autism. Cathy and Melissa especially have been reliable and compassionate over the years. The schedulers do their best to fill needed time slots, even if it means the scheduler herself comes in at times.
This is an emotional decision for everyone involved, and our goal at Amada Senior Care in Central Pennsylvania is to guide families through the placement process with wisdom, empathy and competence.
For some seniors, an assisted living community, typically offering non-complex medical services, may be a good fit. Others may require a bit more support and may be better served in a nursing home or different type of care community.
The team at Amada Senior Care Central Pennsylvania has years of experience with senior care in Lancaster, York, Harrisburg, Lebanon and the surrounding areas. As a result, we have deep knowledge of all local care communities and can make sure our clients find the ideal placement to suit their care needs, locations, lifestyles, and budgets.
We also rely on our extensive experience to help our clients make full use of all benefits available to them, including veterans’ benefits and Long-Term Care Insurance benefits. The costs of assisted living may intimidate many families, but we can help them make financial decisions with confidence. To further ease cost concerns, the Amada Central Pennsylvania team is pleased to offer its placement services free of charge.

- Large and small communities
- Independent living communities

- Adult family homes
- Senior care homes
- Skilled nursing facilities
- Alzheimer/dementia communities
Many of our veterans, their spouses and their families may not be aware of their potential eligibility for financial assistance from the government. At Amada Senior Care Central Pennsylvania, we are dedicated to helping individuals eligible for VA Aid and Attendance benefits and other forms of financial support take full advantage of these resources.
