My father had been living on his own and was very independent. Recently recently had a hemorrhagic stroke which caused some cognitive impairment and prevents him from driving. He was constantly forgetting whether he took his medication, was not eating healthily, and would wear the same clothes day after day. We needed reliable care to take him to doctor appointments, therapy and help with daily activities. Amada helped match the right care givers to our situation. I will admit some are more engaged than others but once you find the one and get into a routine it makes the day to day so much better. There are a lot of logistical issues with a sick parent living on their own and I found Amada was very flexible, their care givers are compassionate and engaged. My father has been on track with medication and therapy since Amada care was engaged and eats nicely prepared meals. The owner is a good, stand up guy.
