We started relying on Amada for home care of our mother, who is in the 90s, since November 2022, after receiving comparable services from another agency for 3 years earlier. We learned over time that, in general, finding and hiring good caregivers is very challenging for the industry, and the rate of turnover is expectedly high. In addition, reliability and personability are the most important caregivers traits that our mother needs, as she is very reserved, shy and particular with how she wants things done, and still insists strongly on her independence, even as her physical conditions become much frailer with age. I am happy to say that we could finally exhale after working with Amada for just only brief time to reach a quite satisfactory, stable and smooth weekly schedule of caregivers for her.

Even though we have had multiple caregivers over time, Amada seems to beat all odds in hiring the very best caregivers we’ve ever had, with exemplary punctuality records, dependability, attentiveness, competency, and most of all personability. On top of that, the behind-the-scene dedicated support from the president Matt’s and his team’s, such as communication, and timely addressing of any scheduling and/or caregiver matching concerns, is very effective, steadfast and thoughtful, above and beyond the norm. Amada in our experience has been successful in making the heavy weight of caring for an aging family member much lighter and manageable for the family.
