My work experience as a CNA here was unfortunately cut short. The clients I cared for were so sweet, and I truly adored them — I’ll miss them dearly. I also really appreciated the office ladies, who were always kind, helpful, and supportive anytime I needed something. Unfortunately, the owner does not share that same level of understanding. When my car was broken into and left undrivable, the owner dismissed my situation, even calling me a ‘liar,’ and chose termination over communication. This was my very first experience as a HHA, and it was taken from me far too quickly. I sincerely hope no one else has to be treated this way. The staff deserves recognition, but the leadership made this a very negative work experience for me.

Asa and staff have been helpful in getting my step dad into the VA system. We had no clue how to do all the VA stuff, but with their guidance we were able to connect with the right people so step- dad could get the help he needed through the VA. Asa and staff are always there to help out or give advice if we aren’t sure how or what to do. Thank you all for your help!

I have been with Amada almost a year now, after I was assigned by the V.A. and met Alyssa when she first started working on my case. I have found that she is very likeable and professionally and very easy to work with. Even though she is with me as a professional aid she is always friendly and knows her business she is almost like a family member and I feel that she has been a very good friend and assistant for my medical needs.

During the past 6 years with Amanda Senior Services I have been very pleased with the quality of their care. The vetting of caregivers, their dependability, prompt and courteous communication from the office staff provides me with a trustworthy experience to look forward to in the years to come as well.

The main nurse allysa was great ,she had a professional attitude and if my dad needed anything she would help with as much as possible. We miss her.

They have cared for my mother who passed away in 2016. ( Kristine Noeller) And now I have the privilege of them servicing my Dad who is elderly with dementia. The best in the field Amanda senior care is the best of the best. Attentive pro active professional timely great honest caregivers well trained and adheres to the rules religiously. I have have many services as a Vietnam era veteran and highly recommended amada.

Asa was super helpful in helping me understand the ins and outs of my mother’s long term care policy. He is always prompt with communication and his team is open to ideas and suggestions in caring for my mom. I highly recommend them for not only professionalism but compassion.

Please forgive that my listing says Fifty Plus Beauty. I am a YouTuber and that is my YouTube channel but I am posting this review to share my personal experience with Amada Senior Care. Recently, we started working with Asa Shuey at Amada Senior Care. We selected Amada to provide home health services for my mother who is in the beginning stages of Alzheimer’s. First, let me say that Amada totally lived up to their excellent reviews in terms of their caregivers. Maria was my mother’s caregiver and she is warm helpful and super attentive to my mother’s needs. The thing that really sets Amada apart from other home health agencies in Wichita is that they have extensive experience working with long-term care insurance policies. Asa Shuey, the company’s owner, is actually certified in this area and routinely files LTC claims and handles appeals if your loved one has a LTC policy. In fact, Asa had actually worked with Lincoln Benefit Life in the past and he knew exactly what was required to file claims on my mother’s behalf. Word of warning to you. Don’t just start receiving services that are required under a given LTC Policy deductible as, unless those services are properly documented and submitted, they may not qualify under the policy and they won’t help satisfy the deductible. Free of charge Asa examined my mother’s LTC policy, and then spent about an hour on the phone with us explaining all the specifics of her policy as each policy varies. Asa’s expertise alone was invaluable for us. In addition, to Amada providing excellent care and even filing the claims for us at no extra charge, Asa and Amada were able to alert us to a family member who seemed to be trying to take financial advantage of both of my aging parents. Although I won’t go into the details, Asa’s assistance in this area has been invaluable for us as he has dealt with this sort of thing in the past and this helped us recognize the abuse and stop it from happening. I can’t recommend Amada Senior Care highly enough. Not only is the care they provide excellent, if you have a long-term care insurance policy, Amada goes beyond the call in actually filing claims on your behalf to ensure the terms of the policy are followed and honored. Before selecting Amada, I did extensive research on all the home health companies in town, and I chose the very best one. I am so pleased.

Amada and their caregivers were extremely professional and provided exceptional care and companionship for my father. From preparing food and helping with household tasks, to providing help with personal hygiene care or assisting with transportation, Dad was well cared for in every way. The help we received was absolutely INVALUABLE, and Dad would not have been able to stay living at home as long as he did if he did not receive the help and care from Amada.

I have been using Amada Senior Care for almost a year because of my husband’s frontotemporal dementia. The ease of setting up of the care, the flexibility of scheduling, and the wonderful aides have been a blessing for both my husband and me. I have confidence in the care they give him which enables me to run errands, go to appointments, or just relax in my bedroom knowing I am carefree for those hours they are with him. So grateful I took that step to set up his care with Amada.

Asa was absolutely fantastic in assisting us in getting my dad’s long term insurance policy activated. He took care of all the details.

After my elderly uncle had a stroke, he moved in with us. For the following four years, Amada provided caregiving services for him three times a week. The caregivers were compassionate, trustworthy and kind. He looked forward to their arrival and we felt like they were part of the family.

Amada assisted us with my mother from the transition from skilled nursing to home to assisted living. Asa came to the facility to help me with the paperwork for the long term care insurance and guided me thru the process. Amy, in the office, helped organize coverage in their home, many times on short notice as my schedule changed and the needs of my parents. The home health care aids were usually very consistent which helped with the comfort factor for my parents. I felt very comfortable leaving them in their care. I was very pleased with Amada and would use them again in the future.

When my mom’s insurance policy denied coverage for her in-home care, Asa with Amada Senior Care filed an appeal on our behalf. This was a huge process and a lot of paperwork, but due to all of his efforts the denial was overturned and we now have policy coverage to pay for her care. After working with several different caregivers, we have found someone that is wonderful with my mom and takes amazing care of her. If you are looking for a company to help take care of a loved one in your home, I recommend Amada Senior Care.

My husband was with Amada and he was one to be reconded with and the staff were all so kind and patient with him. They went above and not just beyond but beyond beyond to ensure that his last months were as good as they could be. They even loved his dogs and made sure they were ok during his time with them. They all were so good to him.

Amada Senior Care was professional, helpful and timely in their assistance to my father. The aides provided care and support at a time when he needed it most. Thank you all for your service to our family.

My Mother has been using Amanda for a few years. They have helped with in home care, getting her to appointments and even household chores. Asa has always been closely involved. Even assisting with our insurance provider. We appreciate them very much. Highly recommended.

As my parents showed signs of needing in home support, my sister and I along with our parents researched the plethora of options in the Wichita community. Amada Senior Care rose to the top. Every aspect of the company from placement, to daily care exhibited the utmost concern and care that we were looking for. At no time were we informed that care would not be available or the schedule would not work for them. All of my parents needs that were requested were met. The care team itself was comprised of highly qualified individuals that took time to get to know my parents, their likes and dislikes, their struggles and what they could do on their own. The patience the team exhibited along with individualized care was over and above expectations. When life hands you challenges, you want to know that these challenges are handled in the best way possible. Amada filled the gap with love and grace. We couldn’t be happier.

My elderly father has benefitted from Amada’s services for several years. Since I live out of state, the visits my father received from Amada gave me peace of mind that someone was checking in on him regularly throughout the week. His aides were cheerful, helpful and dependable. They did light housework, drove him to various doctors’ appointments and grocery stores, and generally provided company for a few hours each time they came. I highly recommend Amada!

Amada Senior Care has been providing care for my father who is 89 years old for almost 3 years. Cassidy and Asa have always been available if I had any questions or concerns. My husband was terminally ill and I began getting home health assistance from Amada, Monday through Friday, beginning in April until his death on November 27, 2021. I found the aide taking care of my husband to be caring, reliable and helpful for all of our needs. They formed a great bond during that short time. I will forever be thankful.

We were very pleased with the services through AMADA. They helped me take care of my father for the last 6 months of his life. We had one young man in particular who helped him shower, dress and fix some of his meals. He was also great company for my dad. I was very comfortable having him in the house. The staff at AMADA was also very helpful when we needed to change times or days or add extra services.
