I have spent more that two decades in the medical field and I have learned the extreme importance of treating patients, their families, care givers, etc. as my own family and thriving together as a community to improve quality of life.

My mother was diagnosed with advanced dementia a few years ago which left my father, sisters, my family, and me frantic to find health care solutions to help make her comfortable and happy. After a tragic fall down her stairs at home in South Carolina, she was originally admitted to a nursing home that was beautiful, had impressive staffing, daily wine at night with music, etc. and yet all she ultimately wanted was to be home where she was comfortable and surrounded by her loved ones and her daily comforts. It was during that time that my mother was able to transfer from the nursing home back to her house for in-home care. She had amazing care givers that became like family to not only her but to our entire family as they would keep us up to date with her condition, improvements, medical issues, etc. This allowed us to continuously work as a family along the side of the caregivers to create and change care plans as the dementia progressed.

Non-medical caregiving for U.S. veterans includes a range of supportive services that enhance their daily lives and overall well-being. This can involve assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as meal preparation, housekeeping, transportation to appointments, and companionship to combat loneliness. Caregivers can also provide emotional support, help with managing schedules, and offer respite care for family members. Additionally, they may assist with errands, mobility support, and engaging veterans in social and recreational activities to promote a sense of community and purpose. These services ensure that veterans maintain their independence while receiving the care and attention they deserve.

I am married to my best friend and business partner. We are the parents of two amazing young men (14 &11) and also the parents of two lazy bulldogs that bring is a lot of joy and entertainment.

My father, sisters, and I were thrilled with the outcomes but there were certainly a few bumps in the road with different care givers that we were able to resolve effectively and efficiently. It was during this process that my passion for the care of our loved ones really hit home and ultimately led me to seek the opportunity to help others in the fashion that I wanted for my own mother. The process truly made me realize how important it is to have quality care givers that treat each patient as an individual focused on preserving the love and life that are created and the legacy that they hope to find for their loved ones.

My mother also loved my wife like a daughter and my sons beyond all comprehension so her passing struck us all with extreme grief, pain, confusion, etc. It also was the reason that I looked toward creating a care system within the West Florida area that focuses on patient care the way that I would want for my own mother and family. It was the drive that lead me away from my former profession and to work with an amazing team within the West Florida area to provide every patient and family with the love and care that they deserve!

My family stands behind me in this quest and our goal is to exceed every imaginable expectation for each family and patient. We thrive to bring joy and understanding during the times that are most difficult for patients and families to understand and navigate through.

Our family, team, community, and all resources are aimed to help in the manner that we needed with my mother. We needed a guide to help us! My goal along with my family, team, and community strive to provide this care for your family so that future memories are happy and focused on what is really important during difficult times.
My story is simple, treat people with kindness, love, support, and care that enhance quality of life and love.
