“We are so grateful to Amada for the exceptional care they are providing our loved one. They are very responsive if we have a specific need or questions, their communication with our family is wonderful. They have a portal for updates, payment and billing records, caregiver’s communication, (they even add pictures of activities the do with them) and scheduling which gives us peace of mind. If you are looking for someone who treats your loved one like family, I cannot recommend them enough.”

I really can’t say enough good things about Amada! We currently use them for 3 different family members, all with different issues, and have been so happy with the care they’ve shown. They’ve been quick to respond to increased needs (after a hospitalization, for example) and have worked hard to find the perfect match for our family. Our main caregiver has literally become part of our family.
The staff at the Amada office is as caring as the caregivers! Two family members are pretty easy but one is more difficult and Amber and Melissa have worked tirelessly to help her adjust to 24 hour care in her home. Barbie has helped with long term care insurance approval, and Kathy has shown lots of patience when I’ve messed up bills. I really can’t express how much help and peace of mind Amada has given our family.

A BIG “Thank you!” to Amada Senior Care and their team for the excellent way they cared for my dad, Jim. He received excellent care and enjoyed the talks, card games, dominoes, and attention. A special shout out to Amber who helped me on many occasions get dad into rehab on several occasions and provided constant updates. Having them around was a blessing for him and for my brother and I. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I’ve partnered with Amada in my role as a hospice/home health representative. We rely on their services when our patients require additional support at home. Their team is consistently friendly, prompt, and willing to go above and beyond. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Ask for Cassie – she is amazing. :)

Amada is a great community that employs wonderful caregivers to their customers. Cassie in particular has been an absolute delight to work with, and I love that they are constantly involved with local causes like the Alzheimer’s Association. Check them out if you are looking for the help around!

Amada sends caregivers to assist my parents. I could not be more pleased with their level of care and manner in which they provide it. They are courteous and pleasant while still doing their job… which is making sure my parents are safe and helped with doing things that used to be second nature for them. They also know when to excuse themselves when family conversations are taking place. I could go on, but my point is that I highly recommend Amada for anyone that needs home healthcare for their loved ones.

When my family decided to bring my grandpa home, we were worried about making sure he received the best care possible. Cassie at Amada made the entire process seamless and stress-free. Amada provided excellent care. The staff was very professional, thoughtful and helpful in responding to our needs. I highly recommend Amada for anyone who needs care in their home. Our care provider was considerate and a hard worker. She helped with grocery shopping and prepared delicious meals. She also assisted around the house while being a caregiver. She was always prompt and a pleasure to work with. I am grateful for the outstanding care Amada provided.

I work in Hospice. Anytime Cassie has sent her team or we have worked side-by-side for a patient, her team has always gone above and beyond.
I work with the only five star Hospice in Missouri, and we only want to work with the best. If I was asked to use Cassie at Amada, I’d say yes.

Amada Senior Care has provided professional, compassionate and reliable care. The customer service is excellent and very timely. The Amada caregivers truly have a heart for providing care to the aging population and have demonstrated reliability and compassion in all that they do. We are new to using Amada Home Health Care. They have been very knowledgeable and helpful with long term insurance and knowing what assistance is needed with our elderly family member. Since they have begun visiting her, she has already shown signs of physical improvement and happiness over the attention her caregiver shows. We are very grateful for their assistance, and feel like we can focus more on our relationship with our family member.

We got a referral from a local Physical Therapy Physician to Senior Nail Care. My wife’s nail were very painful. Molly was excellent with my wife. The service was quick and painless. With nail care like this not covered by insurance anymore, the cost was very reasonable. We will be back.

We had a wonderful experience with Amada! When we were in need of an in home caregiver, the owner Barbie and the Client Care Manager, Amber met with us the day I called and answered all of our questions. They were both very nice and I immediately felt comfortable with them. The caregiver, Samantha was a perfect fit and we really appreciate her! She is kind and caring and very knowledgeable with providing the type of care we needed. We couldn’t ask for any better care.

They’ve been missing their shifts with a beloved man in his late 80s who has suddenly lost his ability to walk, and care for himself, and they have not been showing up, or leaving half way through. I expect a home care agency for a patient who cannot care for himself in anyway to make sure if one person cannot come in, or needs a day off, they have someone to fill in, and the agency makes sure about it! Because he does not use phones due to bad heating and just needs it to be taken care of. He’s worked hard all his life to take care of his loved ones. We’ll have to find another who will not leave him without care!

This company came into our home professing Christian values in how they care for the elderly. They have not shown up to scheduled shifts 4 days in a row and did not send any substitute. This isn’t the first time they’ve not shown up for shifts and not sent a replacement. However, this time was crucial. We are out of town and cannot pick up the care for our elderly family member, we told Amada we would be out of town, and they completely abandoned our family member. This family member’s health took a decline during our trip because of this negligence. When we called to ask Amada what the deal was about abandoning our family member they were rude and sarcastic. These are not the Christian values I expected. Their promises were a farce. I am saddened and disappointed with their service and their attitude.

We needed short term overnight care for my father-in-law and Barbie was able to provide caregivers the following night after we contacted her. Melissa and Maggie were respectful, kind, and very helpful. Barbie was caring, flexible, and excellent to work with. I would highly recommend Amada Senior Care and we appreciate the assistance provided to get through that period of time!

Learning about Amada Senior Care has been a true blessing to our family. My father has Alzheimer’s and my mother is disabled. The amount of time that our family was having to spend taking care of my parents was overwhelming. When I first spoke with Barbie about our situation, she was immediately at our home helping us with a plan of action. Not only did she provide helpful information about the company, but she also provided us with information about who to talk to regarding legal protection against probate and nursing home expenses along with a solid estate plan. Amada has truly relieved our family of a lot of the stress, frustration, sadness, and the unknown. I highly recommend Amada and have appreciated their passion of caring for seniors. We now have a wonderful care taker (Marlene Nicely) who is a perfect match for my parents. Thank you, Amada!!!

I coordinate the care for my 90 year old neighbor, and we started with a service other than Amada. With the other company, it was a revolving door of caregivers, and the situation was not great.
Since coming to Amada, we have had a steady care giver who my neighbor is very comfortable with. Maria (our care giver) is a genuinely caring person and does an excellent job of keeping us in the loop about things going on in the home. I also like that the local owner of Amada is very involved in the company.

I am a caretaker for my mom who lives with us. We hired Amada Senior Care to come to our home so my husband and I could get away for a long weekend. Their employee was wonderful. Mom really liked her and felt comfortable with her. We definitely would do this again.

I love Amada! I haven’t seen this kind of devotion to clients from any other homecare agency in SW Missouri. They choose caregivers and clients carefully and work hard to match clients with the best caregiver fit. They don’t leave clients hanging either – there is no such thing as a call saying they can’t find anyone to send. They are truly a cut above the rest!
