Amada Senior Care Southern Delaware
As the owners of Amada Senior Care Southern Delaware, Dow and Renee Juliano have seen through their own personal experiences the difference that compassionate, top-quality care makes in the lives of our clients and their families. Throughout many years serving seniors in the Sussex County and Kent County cities of Rehoboth Beach, Lewes, Dover, Milford, Millsboro, Bethany Beach, Fenwick Island, Dewey Beach, Farmington, Harrington, Georgetown, Laurel, Smyrna, Seaford, Selbyville and surrounding communities, Dow and Renee have held firmly to their conviction that every senior deserves to live with respect and dignity.
“Enriching the lives of seniors in our community is the commitment we make to you at Amada Senior Care Southern Delaware,” Dow says. “Our story is probably similar to many of you. Being put into a situation where we needed to care for an aging parent or grandparent who needed help with activities of daily living was how it all began. For me, it was my Grandma, who suffered from a brain tumor and came to live with me for the last year of her life. During that time, I provided help to her with all activities of daily living, as well as sharing much love and emotional support. This experience gave me a true appreciation for what it means to be a caregiver.”
Renee’s awareness of the need for compassionate senior care began when her father started suffering complications from diabetes. He landed in the hospital for several weeks and then upon discharge went to live with his daughter because Renee’s mother was not able to care for him on her own. “We were able to share in providing round-the-clock care for ‘Poppy’ while he lived with us,” says Renee. “Being able to share this journey with Poppy was a gift not only to him but to us as well.
“Both Renee and I were fortunate that we had the time and ability to care for our loved ones,” Dow adds. “But many families aren’t in that situation and need help from individuals who truly understand the care needs of the family member and are able to deliver that care in a compassionate manner.”
Compassionate care by trained and experienced caregivers is what Amada Senior Care is all about. The Amada Southern Delaware team has one goal: Taking the burden off of the family so that the time they have to spend with their loved one can be truly special, and when they aren’t there, family members can be confident that their loved one is being cared for as we would care for any member of our own families.
Each member of the Amada Senior Care Southern Delaware team is dedicated to going beyond basic home-care by gaining a deep understanding of our clients and their individual needs so that we can make a truly positive impact on their lives. In addition, at Amada Southern Delaware, we understand the range of emotions seniors and their families experience as they consider in-home care. Our goal is to guide families through this delicate transition in a way that helps each member feel supported and confident in their decision to place their trust in us.

Words cannot express what Dow and Paul have done for me! They care for me as if I was one of their own family members….they ensure my safety and make sure my needs are met. I have witnessed them going above and beyond to help their clients as well as myself. They are my safety blanket and I know I’m in trusting hands! Please if anyone is looking for living supporting comforting and spot on care join Amada …..
Dow and Paul have treated me like family since day one! They were and are always looking for my well-being, and genuinely care! I have a wonderful aide they set me up with and assured my safety and comfort with her! They were absolutely right. I’ve never seen two people work as hard as Dow and Paul to assure all those in their care were well provided for! These are just some of the wonderful traits about Amada and I encourage those with loved one who need care to turn to Amada senior care !
You have been taking care of my Mom for over a year now and I can’t believe how much your team does! You get my Mom up and showered and then make sure she eats and takes her medicine. She loves the company of Larissa, Dow, and Portia and even enjoys walking in the cold with them. Amada has been there to help us out, even in emergencies. I’ve called to get help with surprise doctor appointments and even the Covid -19 vaccine. It’s truly a pleasure having this Amada team care for Mom.
Dow, Paul and the rest of your staff.....thank you from the bottom of my heart for the care you gave our loved one. Compassion from day 1, always available, responsive and proactive. You made everything easy for me and my family at a time when things are not so easy.
Thanks so much for your help on Christmas day. It was so great to be with my family. Joe was very pleased with Paul and so was I. He's a "keeper"! Thanks Dow for all your help. I am very impressed with your organization. Will recommend highly! Happy New Year!
