Amada provided wonderful service for my father. They assisted us in his transition from the hospital, then provided both daytime and nighttime care. Ed Petrivelli was hugely helpful in providing guidance. The scheduling team was responsive and communicated well. Special thanks to caregivers Adair, Irene and Elizabeth, who were all top-notch in assisting my father. At a time of great stress and confusion, Amada provided great support. We highly recommend them.

AMADA provided great care for my mother following her hospital discharge. They stepped in quickly and provided her the in-home care she needed to be safe as she recovered. Special kudos to John (the owner), Nicole (the case manager), and Ed (Bus Dev), all of whom have been caring and helpful. And a special thanks to Michelle, one of the primary caregivers whose positivity helped my mother through her recovery.

My mother had weekly care from Amada for about 2 years. They were dependable and had solid people working for them.

John & his wife have built a great senior care business. My Mom needed home care after an injury. They have caring, capable people to assist with personal care, cleaning, preparing meals and taking Mom to the Dr or shopping. Check them out if you are in need of this special senior care. I recommend them.

I have been with Amada Senior Care now for about 3 years since March 2021. They have been exceptionally helpful in finding a caregiver to fit my needs. The owner John B has been very kind and it is obvious he cares deeply for his clients. I like my current caregiver very much, Maria F. She is kind, observant, a great listener and shares, is engaged and mature beyond her years. Amada goes above and beyond to find a good match for their clients. I recommend them wholeheartedly.

All of the caregivers at Amada Senior Care are patient, well-trained, and dedicated. In particular, Alfonso has been very thoughtful, reliable, and flexible. My family has been very fortunate to have Alfonso as a primary caregiver for the past 8+ months.

I recently had a complicated hip replacement surgery. I went home in one day, and, living alone, I needed some help for a short time, about three weeks. All the caregivers that helped me were wonderful, anticipating my every need. And I really enjoyed their company. All the folks in the office were great too. I hope I don’t need care again soon, but if I do I’ll call Amada.

I reached out to 3 companies looking for caregiving services for my 100-year old mother. Amada Senior Care was the only company that responded to my inquiry. The owner personally visited my mother’s apartment and provided answers to all of our questions. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Once we selected Amada, my mother was provided with a caregiver named Erika who was absolutely wonderful, caring and went the extra mile caring for my mother. Had 5 different caregivers over about a month. All were competent & did a good Job & were friendly. Two were outstanding, Sara & Carlson were a real pleasure to spend the day with. One (nameless) was late one day & never showed 2 times. Overall the service was good & I do thank you! Rick

Amada has been a lifesaver for me and my parents. I had to move them last minute from AZ to La Mesa after my father was kicked out of a rehab hospital in AZ. The owner John, treated me like one of his own family members and got me the care we needed without even meeting us to start. John and his team are so caring, professional, and knowledgeable. I can tell they work hard at finding the right caregivers for each of their clients and they train them very well. We’ve been using them since May 15th and have had nothing but exceptional care and service. I pray God blesses Amada and their team abundantly.

We used Amada Senior Care facility for my father and I cannot begin to say how happy we were with their services. They were professional, highly experienced and reliable. Exactly what we needed to get us through our difficult time in finding (and providing) home care for my elderly father when needed. Amana Senior Care was the right choice for our family. When the hospital released my dad and recommended hospice, we decided to honor his wishes. He came come home and we needed help with his care. I would like to give them 4.9 stars because the home care workers were great and especially Nikki who stayed with my dad and family the last few days of his life. Nikki has a heart and passion for helping people through this very difficult time called transition. She also connected with my daughter which I was grateful for. Also, Jonathan was very helpful with answering my questions, listening and talking to the Long Term Care Insurance Company. I highly recommend their organization, Amana Senior Care with a heart!

In Spanish, the word AMADA means ‘Loved” and that is exactly how you or your family member will feel working with Amada Senior Services. I have ALS, (a motor neuron disease) and when my ability to walk began to fail, a trusted friend recommended Amada Senior Care San Diego. So, we called them up and made an appointment. John and Melissa could not be better listeners, and after hearing what I needed and wanted, they matched me up perfectly with 3 excellent home health care assistants! Each one is friendly, very capable, and super kind. Each week, I look forward to each one’s visit, as they all have different strengths and talents and I feel very safe and well-cared for when they are with me. Plus, we have a lot of laughs swapping life stories and funny moments while they help me with my various, chores and projects. John and Melissa check in often to make sure I am happy and well-taken care of and they also make sure that each of their employees is also celebrated and recognized for the important work they do. My husband loves being worry-free when he leaves our house for any reason. It is a truly wonderful service and a great business! John and Melissa are great people, running a great business, with kindness and compassion! We highly recommend Amada Senior Care. I feel AMADA!

My wife has ALS and uses a wheelchair. We needed to find an excellent home health care aides to make sure she is both safe and fully supported in accomplishing her daily routines and chores. We heard through a trusted friend that Amada Señor Care was great, so decided to give them a try. We are so glad we did! The word “Amada” is the Spanish word for ” loved” . . . and that is exactly how my wife and I feel: loved. My wife currently has three different home health care aides, and each one of them has both unique and wonderful talents coupled with friendly personalities. Combine those qualities along with being highly skilled, well-trained, and compassionate human beings, and it was a match made in heaven. Melissa and John , the owners of Amada Senior Care, are wonderful people and terrific employers, as well. Their employees are frequently celebrated and recognized for the important work they do. John and Melissa are both easily accessible, very responsive, and check in with us frequently to make sure everything is going well, and that our needs are being met. We feel like they are family now! It is very important to feel listened to and have a company pay such close attention and honor both our preferences and needs. John & his staff were incredible! The home care is great for seniors, but also single adults that require help after surgery and want to recuperate in their own home especially when working family members cannot give you the attention you require. Don’t let Senior in the name fool you. They can give you the extra set of hands you that needs to care whether you are single living alone or someone in your home needs help recovering. I would use them again!
