Amada Senior Care Philadelphia West Suburbs
Approved VA Provider and Trusted Resource for Long-Term Care Insurance Claims
Wayne Wrolstad, owner of Amada Senior Care Philadelphia West Suburbs, understands the importance of quality senior care as a result of unfortunate experiences within his own family.
According to Wayne, “Eight years ago, my wife’s parents were in their seventies and we began to speak with them about their senior care options. Unfortunately, shortly after that my father-in-law passed away and my mother-in-law developed Alzheimer’s. Since she is the surviving spouse of a veteran and also had some insurance coverage, we were able to move her into a really good place that specializes in managing Alzheimer’s. Over time, though, her insurance coverage ran out and we had to come up with another alternative. We found a Medicaid facility, and we’re grateful for it—but it just doesn’t match up to the kind of quality we saw at that first place we had carefully selected. If only we had acted to prepare for this eight years ago, we may have been in a better position to move her to a place best suited for her.”
“Now,” Wayne says, “When people come to me with questions about senior care, I really empathize with them. I am grateful that I now have the knowledge I need to help them and that I can provide that kind of wise advice to people in the Philadelphia area.” While Wayne and his family did not prepare for his mother-in-law’s senior care needs as they now know they should have, Wayne is happy that he is able to prevent a similar experience for his clients at Amada Senior Care in the Philadelphia West Suburbs, including Drexel Hill, Upper Darby, Havertown, Springfield, Marple, King of Prussia, Malvern, Newton Square, Bala Cynwyd, Broomall, Radnor, Bryn Mawr, St. Davids, Strafford, Berwyn, and the surrounding areas.
Both Wayne and his wife have had extensive careers in healthcare, and their professional and personal experiences with senior care make them uniquely well-qualified to help you and your family ensure the very best care for your loved one.
At Amada Philadelphia West Suburbs, we think of our clients as an extension of our own families and take a personal interest in enriching their lives. This support also extends to our clients’ loved ones, who can often use some encouragement or wisdom as they seek to provide the care a beloved senior deserves.

If it wasn't for Amada Senior care and all of their fabulous aids, we wouldn't have been able to honor my mother and father's wishes. During my mother's battle with dementia and Alzheimer's disease, Amada Senior care came to our rescue. Providing dignified, loving, exceptional care to not only my mother, but tending to my father's emotional needs, as well. The plan was to have Mom stay home and pass with dignity in familiar surroundings, with my father and her loved beside her until her final days. As her level of care needed increased, Amada tended to our every need. Special thanks to Lynda for always being a phone call or text away. Knowing that we have Amada in our "back pocket" for the day we may need them again, is so comforting. Thank you for everything.
My mother needed partial care for about 3 months and then live-in care for the next 8 months. The caregivers were there on time, cooked, did light cleaning, bathed mom, insured all the doctors orders were followed. They felt like a part of the family. Being an only child with a family and a full time job it took a lot of the stress off of me. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Amada.
As the caregiver for a senior with dementia, I could not be more grateful for Amada. Each aide has been both competent and compassionate. Management staff is especially helpful with accommodating an ever-changing schedule. The combination makes like fe so much easier for our family. Best of all, my senior is happy.
I highly recommend Amada .
My sisters and I are thankful for Amada Senior Care. They have been caring, responsible and professional in every way in helping us care for our Mom. We have grown to appreciate the dependability and heartfelt care that "Kitty" has shown through the past year. She has brought a consistency, friendship and level of care that our Mom now enjoys and allows us to care for her in the best way possible. The administrative staff is equally professional and always addresses our concerns in a timely fashion.
We highly recommend their services!
I started working with Amada last October when it was determined that my mom needed in home care and had no idea of what to expect. WAyne talked me through the entire process and put my mind at ease. Not only have the caregivers been excellent but so have the staff. I can call at anytime and get my questions answered immediately.
Geneva comes in on time, does everything on her own without having people to remind or tell her. She is a very hard worker, keep up with the good work.
This is an emotional decision for everyone involved, and our goal at Amada Senior Care in Philadelphia West Suburbs is to guide families through the placement process with wisdom, empathy and competence.
For some seniors, an assisted living community, typically offering non-complex medical services, may be a good fit. Others may require a bit more support and may be better served in a nursing home or different type of care community.
