Dear Amada Family Member,
We are Dell and Veronica Gray, and we are delighted you have joined our close-knit family (or are considering it)! At Amada Senior Care of Orlando, we passionately believe in our mission of:
- Helping seniors age successfully and with dignity at home (or wherever they call home)
- Supporting family caregivers to assist their senior loved ones
- Creating the most meaningful and rewarding work for our staff
Our mission guides everything we do and is born from our personal experiences.
We have been married for more than 30 years and have two college-educated sons. Central Florida has been our home for more than 25 years and is where Dell worked as a Medical Device Sales and Sales Manager Professional and Veronica served as a Registered Nurse for nearly 10 years.
Our Personal Travels on the Senior Care Journey
We both understood the importance of in-home senior care when we began caring for Veronica’s mother who was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. She moved in with us when our two sons were children. Veronica took on the responsibility of serving as her mother’s primary caregiver for seven years.
We also faced the challenges of non-medical caregiving when Dell’s father – a Vietnam veteran – had similar senior care needs a few years before his death.
Wholeheartedly Serving Seniors, Families and Staff
In addition to Veronica being a registered nurse, Dell holds a master’s degree in healthcare administration. For much of our personal and professional lives, health care and home care have been at the forefront of everything we do, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. We consider working in senior care as our gift, our mission, and our ministry.
We know the importance of continuous training, communication and rewarding environments for all the members of our professional care team. Each day, we follow best practices to ensure our staff provides exceptional care to our senior clients.
