Non-medical caregiving for U.S. veterans includes a range of supportive services that enhance their daily lives and overall well-being. This can involve assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as meal preparation, housekeeping, transportation to appointments, and companionship to combat loneliness. Caregivers can also provide emotional support, help with managing schedules, and offer respite care for family members. Additionally, they may assist with errands, mobility support, and engaging veterans in social and recreational activities to promote a sense of community and purpose. These services ensure that veterans maintain their independence while receiving the care and attention they deserve.

If there is one person who embodies true compassion, integrity, and generosity, it is Olga Szobonya. She is, without question, the most charitable and service-driven person I know. Olga has a heart that is constantly tuned to the needs of the vulnerable, whether it is seniors who have no one advocating for them or children and families struggling quietly in the background. When someone is hurting, Olga steps forward without hesitation. As a devoted and deeply involved member of the community, she has spent years making sure the families at her children’s school were fed, clothed, and supported. Countless nights were spent organizing food, delivering essentials, and making sure no child went without. She knows her community, she knows its helpers, and she is the bridge that connects those who need support with those who can provide it. Her generosity does not stop with children and families. Olga has furnished homes for those starting over and now pours that same level of dedication into serving seniors. She has intervened for seniors in serious situations, including those facing homelessness, ensuring they receive safe housing and compassionate support. She does this not for recognition but because her heart cannot tolerate seeing someone vulnerable go without advocacy. Olga is the kind of person you trust with your most precious loved ones. She is dependable, compassionate, and fiercely protective of those who cannot advocate for themselves. Her commitment to giving back is not an act… it is who she IS. If you want someone who treats seniors with dignity, respect, and genuine care, there is absolutely no one better than Olga.

Trust me when I say you will not have a more caring team to have your back. Olga truly puts her heart and soul into what she does and it shows. She put my mind at ease when we needed help transitioning my grandpa to a new home. She did everything she could to make the process as smooth as possible and made sure my grandpa had the care he needed to live more independently. I am so thankful for the help she has been to our family and would recommend her to anyone needing help for their loved ones.

There needs to be more stars! Sometimes when major health crises hit, families need help and need it fast. This wonderful woman, Olga, noticed my father might not be getting all the benefits he was eligible for as a veteran. We didn’t even know to ask about such things and sure enough she was right. She helped us get through the VA process (no easy task). She also sat and talked with my mom and checked up on her regularly to make sure they were both getting everything they needed during a rough transition. Olga and Noelia are well known in our community from their work in the schools. They are genuinely wonderful souls who really care about people, and it shows in their work.

Olga Szobonya and Noelia Morales Creager came together with one clear mission: to serve seniors and their families with compassion, dignity, and personalized care.

Olga’s journey to becoming a provider of top-quality senior care began as a social worker. She earned her Master of Social Work and spent years advocating for individuals and families who were facing some of life’s most difficult challenges.

Says Olga, “Over time, I felt called to become even more directly involved in care, so I went back to school and earned my Associate’s Degree in Nursing. That hands-on experience deepened my understanding of what people truly need—connection, respect, and thoughtful, individualized support, especially as they age or face health challenges.”

For Noelia, becoming a senior care provider starts from deep personal experience. Says Noelia, “I have a brother with Down syndrome, and growing up alongside him taught me so much about patience, advocacy, and the value of compassionate care. Later in life, I helped care for my father during his final days, and those moments reinforced my commitment to being present and supportive during times of vulnerability.

Noelia earned a degree in Early Childhood Education and is proud of the personally meaningful and rewarding years she spent working in education serving students and their families. With her degree in Business Management, Noelia brings strong organizational skills, structure, and attention to detail to the operations of Amada Idaho Falls, ID.
