Amada Senior Care Cumming Connects with Hospital Case Managers of Senior Patients
Our team of senior advisors at Amada Senior Care Cumming attended the American Case Management Association (ACMA) Georgia Chapter event, where we met with case managers, care coordinators, and transitions-of-care professionals from hospitals across the state to share best practices and strengthen partnerships in the senior care continuum. Amanda Smith, Kiu Smith, and Michelle DeHaarte, the owners of Amada Senior Care Cumming in Alpharetta, GA were joined by the owners of Amada Lake Lanier in Buford, GA and Amada Snellville in Snellville, GA.
“It was a fantastic turnout with every major hospital in the region was represented,” says Kiu. “The energy in the room reminded us just how essential these professionals are in guiding patients and families through some of life’s most important decisions. At our Amada Senior Care booth, we had the chance to meet so many dedicated case managers and coordinators. We loved hearing about the challenges you face, the creative solutions you use to support families, and how we might be able to come alongside you as a trusted resource. These conversations reaffirmed what we already know: collaboration is the key to ensuring seniors receive the right care at the right time.
“And of course, we added a little fun into the mix, our raffle for a gift basket filled with Amada merchandise and other goodies was a hit. It was our way of saying ‘thank you’ for the tireless work you do every day and for stopping by to connect with us.”

Case Managers Serve as the Bridge Between Senior Patients and Amada Senior Care
Participating in the ACMA event is just one way that Amada Senior Care supports case managers, who are the bridge between senior patients and their families, and Amada Cumming. At Amada Senior Care Cumming, we’re committed to being a reliable partner on the other side of that bridge, whether it’s supporting families with placement services, coordinating in-home care, or helping navigate long-term care funding options.
Says Kiu, “We look forward to continuing these conversations and building relationships with the many professionals we met. Together, we can make transitions of care smoother, more compassionate, and better for the seniors we all serve.”
