Amada Senior Care in Columbus
At Amada Senior Care Columbus, we not only provide senior home care, but we also assist seniors with long-term care insurance (LTCi) claims and the VA’s Aid and Attendance benefit for senior veterans. We provide a unique type of home care. Our mission is to assist elders to thrive and live independently in their homes while also improving their overall quality of life via compassionate, high-quality care.
We are your one-stop-shop for in-home caregivers, senior housing advice, and LTCi claim assistance. We have a long history of helping seniors and their families in Dublin, Worthington, Westerville, Hilliard, Columbus, Powell, Delaware, Clintonville, New Albany, Upper Arlington, and the surrounding areas.
Dwight Smith, the franchise owner of Amada Columbus, has made a commitment to serving as a community resource for seniors and their families. It’s one reason why Dwight earned the credential of Certified Dementia Practioner. For Dwight, senior care is personal. “Seeing the high level of caregiving that my father, who was diagnosed with dementia, received during the phases of Alzheimer’s inspired me to want to provide the same to other families,” Dwight said. “That he was able to age with dignity and get the quality care he deserves has provided so much peace of mind for our family.”

This past year working for Amada has been an "awesome" experience ! I find it rewarding to work with a company who really cares about its staff as much as their clients. Their patience & ongoing support has been very encouraging especially during this Pandemic with the challenges that affected all of us. Im so grateful to Mike , Kerry & Ethan for everything you do! 🙂
I have worked with the staff of Amada Senior Care for over a year now and everyone is always very polite and professional in dealing with others in their office as well as ours. I would recomned their services to my family and friends.
For everyone involved, this is an emotional decision, and our objective is to help families navigate the process with insight, understanding, and expertise.
An assisted living community, which typically provides non-complex medical services, may be a good option for some elders. Others may need a little more assistance and would be best served in a nursing home or another sort of care facility.
We offer years of expertise recommending senior care facilities to residents in Dublin, Worthington, Westerville, Hilliard, Columbus, Powell, Delaware, Clintonville, New Albany, Upper Arlington, and the surrounding areas. As a result, we have extensive knowledge of all area care communities and can ensure that our clients discover the best fit for their care needs, lifestyles, and budgets.
We also use our significant experience to assist our clients in taking advantage of all benefits, such as veterans’ benefits and Long-Term Care insurance benefits. Many families are intimidated by the price of assisted living, but we can help them make informed financial decisions. To further alleviate cost concerns, the Amada Columbus team is happy to provide no additional cost to our clients.
When in-home care is no longer an option for our clients, we are thrilled to help them move forward. Our expertise is in directing seniors to the appropriate community or placement, which may include:
- Senior care homes
- Adult family homes
- Board and care homes
- Large and small communities
- Independent living communities
- Assisted living communities
- Skilled nursing facilities
- Alzheimer/dementia communities
Many of our veterans, their spouses, and their families may be unaware that they may be eligible for federal financial help. We are committed to assisting those who are qualified for VA Aid and Attendance benefits and other forms of financial assistance in utilizing these resources to the fullest extent possible.
