Jennifer and Adam Busch, owners of Amada Senior Care City of Chicago, deeply appreciate the confidence and trust that seniors and their families have placed in them when it comes to providing quality in-home caregiving. They know from personal experience that caregiving is a roll-up-your-sleeves, hands-on vocation, and their goal is delivering compassionate senior in-home care that enriches the lives of their clients.
Says Adam, “I feel that my professional experiences, skill set and love for seniors make a positive difference for Amada clients. My business experience over the last 15 years has been spent developing meaningful partnerships and resources aimed at bettering the lives of Chicagoans. My appreciation for seniors stems from the treasured bonds I had with my own grandparents. My grandparents instilled a great work ethic and sound values. They showed me the importance of respecting people, treating others with kindness and making people feel special. Jen and I will ensure that you’ll receive the same level of care we’d provide for our own family.”
Adam’s business acumen and admiration for seniors, combined with Jennifer’s experience as a trainer and operations manager, qualify them to provide the highest standard of home care and senior community housing solutions for their clients in Chicago. He and Jennifer are dedicated to providing personalized senior in-home care and senior community housing options to their neighbors in Albany Park, Andersonville, Avondale, Bucktown, Edgewater, Gold Coast, Humboldt Park, Hyde Park, Irving Park, Kenwood, Lakeview, Lincoln Park, Lincoln Square, Little Italy and University Village, Logan Square, Loop, Magnificent Mile, North Center, Old Town, Portage Park, Ravenswood, River North, Rogers Park, Roscoe Village, South Loop, Streeterville, Ukrainian Village, Uptown, West Loop, West Town, Wicker Park, Wrigleyville, and other areas.
Says Jennifer, “Starting Amada in Chicago with Adam is an amazing adventure. I’m thrilled that we are able to work for ourselves in a way that has such a positive impact. I’m incredibly fortunate in that my job is to help seniors and their families to have more enriched lives, and I get to do this with my favorite person, my husband. My parents were both diagnosed with cancer far too young, and my two sisters and I acted as caregivers for both of them until they passed. Because we provided round-the-clock, hands-on care, I feel I’m able to relate to our wonderful caregivers on another level. People who are ready and willing to help others on such a personal level are a gift, and we strive to ensure our caregivers fully know how much we appreciate them.”

Amada was a godsend, after working with other agencies for myself and earlier for my husband who had dementia. A couple run the office near me, and as a result of their discipline, Amada Chicago is organized and kind and interviewed me at length to see what caregiver would fit. The first caregiver they sent fit perfectly and I’ve never asked to replace her. The agency itself checks up on her to be sure she’s on time (which I don’t care about usually).
They’re kind, to both me and to the caregiver and so very easy to work with. This applies also to the endless paperwork that is a job in itself. Amada handles much of the paperwork, with paper trail returned to me, and that job too is off my hands.
Just generally A++. After working with several agencies, I appreciate what I’ve found in these very nice people.
My 75-year-old husband had a serious fall in July of 2020, during the pandemic, and he spent weeks in the hospital and in a rehab center. We were overwhelmed with all the changes and with all the things we could not do ourselves. The idea of having a caregiver was a new one for us when Adam Busch, the owner of Amada Senior Care, visited us to talk about the services their agency provides. We were impressed with Adam’s insight, compassion and professionalism and with Amada’s reputation and services. Their high standards for employees and the flexibility and security built into their business plan, assured us they could meet our needs. Within two days after our decision, Amada linked us up with Bria, a caregiver who is experienced, professional, responsible, and creative--and whose cheerful presence fits comfortably into our home. We are so grateful. It’s a great fit. Amada handles the details, and we enjoy the benefits.
Walking my dog in Lincoln Park on Labor Day, I broke my ankle and foot. Living alone, I have been quite incapacitated and could never have made it without the assistance and care provided by AMADA. Kudos to caregiver Christina, who is an absolute gem. Thank you, AMADA, for your service, and thank you, Christina, for making an otherwise trying time bearable.
This is an emotional decision for everyone involved, and our goal at Amada Senior Care in City of Chicago is to guide families through the placement process with wisdom, empathy and competence.
For some seniors, an assisted living community, typically offering non-complex medical services, may be a good fit. Others may require a bit more support and may be better served in a nursing home or different type of care community.
