Jennifer and Adam Busch, owners of Amada Senior Care City of Chicago, are grateful for the confidence and trust that clients and their families have placed in them when it comes to providing customized in-home caregiving. They know from professional and personal experience that caregiving requires a roll-up-your-sleeves, hands-on approach. Their mission is to deliver tailored, compassionate, and dependable in-home care that enriches the lives of their clients in Chicago.
Why Us?
Amada Senior Care Chicago is A+ Certified by the Home Care Standards Bureau. Since our beginnings in 2017, we’ve become one of the largest in-home care agencies in Chicago and are in the top 15% of home care agencies nationwide. We have a highly trained and experienced team of nearly 100, including office staff and caregivers, but have the feel of a family run organization. We have also grown because of our advocacy-based mindset because we work to offer support and guidance, whether it is for our clients, their families, or our caregivers.
We also offer services many in-home caregiving agencies are not willing to do, or if they do, they charge a separate fee. We do this at no additional cost, including going to great lengths to help families understand healthcare resources available to them, and breaking down the complexities of Long-Term Care insurance (LTCi) policies as well as exploring senior housing options. We’re a local family-owned organization: our office is in Lincoln Park and we live in the Gold Coast area, where many of our clients and their families live, work and play. Owners Adam and Jennifer are a married team and very family-oriented; we like to say we are a family helping families.
The Caregiver/Client Relationship
We pride ourselves in being honorable, respectful employers. Our caregivers receive benefits, a matching 401k, paid time off, a CNA school reimbursement program, and more, and we work to ensure our caregivers feel appreciated and heard on a personal level. All of this results in high morale and caregiver retention because qualified people feel good about working with us. We are also matchmakers in how we pair up our clients with our caregivers with a mixture of experience, personality, and skills set, resulting in more consistency. We regard the important caregiver/client relationship as an integral component of the client’s safety, comfort, and emotional and mental wellbeing.
Conditions and Disease States
Our caregivers are trained, skilled, and experienced in managing a range of conditions and disease states. Among these are recovery and rehabilitation from orthopedic surgery: hip and knee replacement; shoulder and back surgery; and much more. We are also experts in personalizing home care assistance for people living with cancer, stroke and cardiovascular disease, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s and dementia, hospice care, and family respite care. It is important to note that while our focus is on senior care, we also regularly provide care for adults who are not yet seniors and who may be facing condition- or disease-related challenges.
Regardless of disease state, condition, or age, working with Amada Senior Care Chicago helps reduce hospital readmissions, meaning we keep people safe at home and out of hospitals and skilled nursing/rehab facilities. We help people safely age in place. We are able to provide care from 24-hours a day, 7-days a week to just a few times a week. We understand the mental, physical, and emotional investment family members make in caring for a loved one can be overwhelming. This is especially true for those receiving hospice care. Very often, giving family a respite from the intensity of caring for a loved one in end stages is just as important as repositioning and toileting someone who is bedbound. Amada’s caregivers provide a welcome respite from the continuous care of a loved one giving family and friends time to recharge.
Why Amada Senior Care?
Families and loved ones making decisions for the right type of care and the best in-home care agency can experience stress and uncertainty. Also, for the person facing health compromises, the loss of complete independence can create fear and anxiety. That’s where we come in.
In addition to in-home care and advocacy, Amada Senior Care Chicago can help with Long-Term Care insurance claims assistance. This is a complimentary service for our clients. We break down your benefits: where, how, and when Long-Term Care insurance benefits can be used. We also handle initiating and managing the claim. Clients and their families love that Amada handles all reporting, communications with carriers, and billing. Amada Senior Care Chicago is one of only a couple agencies who can be reimbursed directly by the insurance company which takes a lot off the client’s plate.
Part of our advocacy is doing what is best for the clients and their families by providing complimentary senior housing guidance. Aging in place in the comfort of home is preferred by most while others may thrive in a community environment. Exploring the many options for senior care can be a very time intensive and difficult process. We have the understanding of different senior housing options in Chicago and helping families find the best fit for their situation. Whether it be independent living, assisted living, memory care, or skilled nursing, we can make recommendations based on condition, finances, and personal preferences.

I cannot express to you how amazing Velda was to my mom and our family. I will never forget her kindness and caring spirit during these difficult years. I appreciate everything you and your team have done for us!!
The care my elderly mother receives from Amada Senior Care Chicago is wonderful and so personal. The administration's response is timely and friendly.
I inquired about services for caregiving for my mother who has mobility issues. I was concerned about leaving my mom alone at home while I started a new job and could return to my night schedule as a nurse and be there for her during the day. Amada Chicago's owner Adam spoke to my mother during the home evaluation visit and was so helpful and caring. He paid attention to the details which made my mom very happy. Adam felt that Rasheedat would be the best caregiver for my mom and he was right! My mom enjoys Rasheedat's company and is very happy receiving her help. Thank you Adam and Amada Senior Care from the bottom of our hearts.
This is an emotional decision for everyone involved, and our goal at Amada Senior Care in City of Chicago is to guide families through the placement process with wisdom, empathy and competence.
For some seniors, an assisted living community, typically offering non-complex medical services, may be a good fit. Others may require a bit more support and may be better served in a nursing home or different type of care community.

As a result, we have deep knowledge of all local care communities and can make sure our clients find the ideal placement to suit their care needs, locations, lifestyles, and budgets.
We also rely on our extensive experience to help our clients make full use of all benefits available to them, including veterans’ benefits and Long-Term Care Insurance benefits. The costs of assisted living may intimidate many families, but we can help them make financial decisions with confidence. To further ease cost concerns, the Amada City of Chicago team is pleased to offer its placement services free of charge.
