Expert In-Home Elderly Care in Austin, Texas
Patrick Murphy, owner of Amada Senior Care Austin, Texas has had recent senior care experiences in his own family that have reaffirmed his commitment to providing the highest quality of care services for his clients in our community, including Cedar Park, Round Rock, Pflugerville, Georgetown, Dripping Springs, Marble Falls, and beyond.
Patrick says, “Just recently in my life, we had our first bout with Mom’s dementia. She was driving in her car, and she called my sister and brother-in-law, crying. She didn’t know where she was in her hometown—an area that should have been very familiar to her. My sister and brother-in-law had to go get her.
“Our family circled the wagons. My sister, Mary Ellen, took Mom into her home, and we quickly noticed that their relationship declined from the mother/daughter relationship they had always cherished. We realized that it would probably be best for Mom if we moved her to an assisted living home, so that she and Mary Ellen could go back to that loving relationship.”
“This was a really big learning experience for my family, and it made me realize that there are so many other people who struggle with this and need good home care services. At Amada Austin, this is what we provide.”
Amada Senior Care in Austin, Texas takes pride in the fact that our care providers truly want to do whatever they can to help seniors feel more comfortable and independent in their own homes. This means that in addition to helping with activities of daily living, we seek out meaningful ways to enrich clients’ lives on a daily basis.
If your family is in a similar situation to the Murphy family, and a home care assistance environment is no longer ideal for a senior loved one, we will help you find the best place in the Austin area to meet all of your physical, emotional and financial needs. We want you to have peace of mind. We’ll even help you find the best way to pay for the senior care your loved one deserves, because, as Patrick says, “We treat you and your family like you are one of our own.”

Thank you Amada for your compassion
Amada Senior Care provided amazing service for our family during a very had and difficult time. We weren’t even sure what we needed or how to get help. After a few hours home and a mix up we called Tosha at 8:00 pm at night. She could tell we were frantic and scared and wanted someone with us all night. She calmed us right down, through the phone took all the information and didn’t want us to worry about too many details she was truly focused on just caring about the situation and showing us compassion. By 9:40 pm she had nursing aid there! If we could have hugged her and kissed her feet we would have. She moved mountains for us. Not only that she sent an angel - Candy. Candy was with us both nights and we are so thankful for her sweet spirit and kindness. Thank you Amada for your compassion.
Amada is a true blessing to our family.
I highly recommend Patrick and his team for in-home care through their talented staff of professional Certified Nursing Aides.
I highly recommend Amada Senior Care when you need help for your loved one.
Many of our nation’s veterans, spouses and families may not be aware of their potential eligibility for financial assistance from the government. At Amada Austin, we are dedicated to helping individuals who may be eligible for VA Aid and Attendance benefits and other forms of financial support take full advantage of these resources.
If you would like to learn more about Aid and Attendance and other benefits for veterans, please
How is Aid and Attendance Eligibility Determined?
1. Military Service
- Veteran must have a minimum of 90 days of active duty, with at least one of those days during wartime.
- Veteran must not have been dishonorably discharged.
2. Personal Care Needs
- Applicant must currently require assistance with activities of daily living. This can include activities like walking, eating, toileting, or dressing.
3. Income Requirements
- Majority of the applicant’s income must currently be spent on care expenses.
- The percentage of income currently spent on care will determine the benefits they receive.
4. Asset Examination
- The VA determines an acceptable threshold for applicants’ assets.
- Determination of financial assets depends upon age and current financial need.
