We have been using Amada Senior Care for the last 6 months and they are amazing. Karrie Midkiff is my dad’s caregiver and she is amazing. He is a Parkinson’s and Dementia patient and she is always learning new techniques to make his life easier. His RN is Kellie and she’s amazing too. We have been so pleased with the care he has received from them both.

The staff at Amada Care is “Best in all aspects of senior care.” Kelli & Karrie are exceptional caregivers. Thank you for all your hard work & extra miles.

Title: Heartbreaking experience – Caregiver negligence and poor management Rating: ⭐☆☆☆☆ I am writing this review to warn others based on our experience with Amada Senior Care from April to August. We hired them to assist our dear friends (who had no local family) following a fall and rehab stay. Unfortunately, the service provided was a constant source of stress rather than support. The Issues We Faced: • Gross Negligence: On multiple occasions, I arrived to find caregivers sleeping on the couch, distracted by their phones, or taking over the clients’ television. • Lack of Basic Care: Tasks like making beds or emptying bedside commodes were frequently ignored until I personally stepped in to demand they be done. Despite our friends’ physical weakness, caregivers failed to assist with meal planning or grocery shopping. • Inconsistent Staffing & Poor Communication: We dealt with a revolving door of different caregivers, forcing me to re-explain the clients’ medical conditions and needs every single day. The lack of internal communication was appalling. When we asked for invoices, we never received them. There were questions of double billing that were never resolved! • Safety Concerns: I eventually had to install surveillance cameras just to ensure they were being cared for. Tragically, we ended our service because both of our friends passed away. One death followed a fall that I believe 100% could have been prevented had the caregivers been attentive, and the other followed shortly after from a broken heart. The Only Bright Spot: While the company failed us, I want to recognize Jessica and Lynette. They were the only two consistent caregivers who went above and beyond. If you are already using this service and can request them, do so—they are the exception to an otherwise negligent system. Final Verdict: If you choose Amada, be prepared to spend your time making phone calls, holding staff accountable, and monitoring their every move. In our case, the negligence was devastating during their final months. I would not recommend this agency to anyone looking for reliable or safe care for their loved ones.

Amada Senior Care has really impressed me. The team is professional, and the caregivers are consistently kind and attentive. It’s clear that they genuinely care about the well-being of their clients. Communication with the staff has always been easy, and they’re quick to respond to any questions or concerns. Overall, a reliable and compassionate service that I’d definitely recommend to anyone looking for quality senior care.

This is a fantastic group of people who genuinely love their caregivers and strongly desire to do the right thing for their clients.

Our experience has been wonderful. Zach Keathley spent time with my family, after hours and even came to our home! He explained and answered our questions and has continued to help guide us with this major change for our loved one. We want to thank you. Honestly have to say if you have the need, contact Zach. They DONT have the caregivers for the clients/patients. NEVER pick up the phones.

Zach and the team at Amada went above and beyond to assist with my grandfathers issues, offering great support while our family was trying to make important & informed decisions. Zach was incredibly helpful and professional every step of the way!

We loved all the people who helped our dad. Unfortunately, we are due a refund of over $2000. It has been two months, with no refund. I called after about four weeks and was told it was “overlooked.” They assured me it would be sent the next day. Here we are four weeks plus later with no refund.

Kristy’s wealth of information is/was very helpful to setup help my dad’s care. I explain to her my family’s situation and she pointed us in the right direction. Her reassurance gave me hope and a better out look of their situation.

Samantha is a Godsend! She is so sweet and open to Mom’s wants and needs. Never “but I do it this way”. Mom and I both just love her. She gets a GOLD STAR from us `

Brittany was sent as the caregiver for my husband. She is very nice and professional. She treated my husband with respect and listened when he talked with her. When he needed help or wanted to do something on his own, she was there to assist or watch. Tailoring her care to his needs is everything to us. She is an asset to Amada and to any patients fortunate enough to get her.

We hired Amada for a family member and I cannot say enough good things about them! All of their caregivers have been very loving, kind and knowledgeable. This has been a very challenging time for our family as we deal with our loved ones medical needs, it has been a relief to have Amada’s caregivers working with us.

3.5 stars. 5 stars…The caregivers are wonderful. They treat your loved ones like family. They follow instructions and are mostly enthusiastic about being there. Every one that we’ve had has gone above and beyond. 2.5 stars…The administrators, however, are lacking in the communication department. It may seem harsh to deduct so much for that, but when they are responsible for services provided, scheduling, the right caregiver placement, etc. it’s kind of a big deal when they mess up…especially if it’s more than once or twice. They are nice to talk to, but they don’t lways follow through.

They always come in happy and wearing a smile ready for hug if you need one.

Our family’s situation with a beloved family member was truly difficult and very sensitive to deal with; it required immediate action because this family member’s situation was rapidly deteriorating. The most challenging aspect of the situation was that no one lived anywhere near them, so we found ourselves in a position where we were unable to provide any hands-on assistance and were left with trying to coordinate with neighbours, etc. the best we could. When I contacted Amada Care, the situation was pretty dire, and I’m sure my first correspondence came across rather desperate. Rather than being put off, however, Travis and his team immediately responded to the call to action by scheduling an initial appointment and locating the best caregiver for our family’s situation. Amada very quickly connected our beloved family member with a caregiver named Alexis. It is challenging to find just a few positive words to describe Alexis because she possesses so many wonderful qualities and was a perfect fit for our family member. Alexis hit the ground running as soon as she began and went above and beyond to care for our family member as if she were one of her own. Throughout her time with our family member, Alexis demonstrated extreme ownership, positivity, professionalism, and diligence. Alexis is the type of worker who gives her profession a great name and reputation! I hold her in such high regard both professionally and personally. Thank you, Alexis! =) My experience with Amada Care was truly exceptional; I have given them a 5-star rating that they have earned without a shadow of a doubt! Travis, Alexis and Amada Care team — thank you for being such a pleasure to work with!

My mother in law has Alzheimer’s, so Amada was our eyes and ears when we chose to let her stay in her senior living facility for as long as we could. Amada helped her with daily needs such as laundry, cleaning, medication and even going to church. Their caregivers are compassionate and nice. Amada’s team kept us informed and worked with us to specialize her care. They even took care of billing her long term care plan which was a bonus. I would highly recommend using them.

Amanda Senior Care is the best company out their they care for me in every way possible, I wouldn’t ever use another company, all the care takers I have ever had have been awesome with Amanda and the one I have now goes above and beyond for me. Joe and Travis have helped me out so much with making sure I have a fantastic aid and care plan for all my needs after I had my stroke. BEST COMPANY EVER!!! THEY TREAT YOU LIKE FAMILY AND CARE FOR YOU.

Absolutely love this company and what they stand for!! The bosses and staffing personnel are very awesome they take good care of their employees and the best care for the patients. With this company everyone is family not just employees or patients. Would recommend Amada to everyone and when my family is every in need for this care it will be Amada I call. Joe, Travis and the Leah are the absolute best!!

I am very satisfied with Amada Senior Care and partcularly with the care provided by TyLyshis. My parents are 90 and 92. Ty gives them lots of hands on attention, from massaging their hands with lotion to playing music from her phone for them while she sits and visits with them. She made the effort to give Dad lots of attention so she could gain his trust so that he will allow her to assist him with his care. She is dependable, I don’t have to worry with Ty on the job, I know shes going to show up. She has a loving and gracious spirit and I believe she is an answer to prayer. Thank you TyLyshia

The care I received from the Amada staff was excellent! I was able to comfortably stay in my home after surgery. Melissa was a very kind caregiver who made sure I was comfortable and all of my needs met. Great job!

I can’t say enough good things about the Amada and all that they are doing to help with our dad. Every one that we have worked with has been wonderful — from Nurse Katy to Leah the scheduler to our caregivers Jamika and Chelsea who treat my dad and our family as though we are their own. Thank you Amada for all that you do!!!

Good company with home like atmosphere that offers an array of services. I recommend looking into them. If they can’t offer you exactly what you need Travis can point you in the right direction.

Emily and Joe made sure when my mom was alive that she was taken care of. We are still with Amada they are taking care of my Dad now. He is in the early stages of dementia and their people are so good with him. I love the care we are getting.

I just wanted to say how very pleased my family was with Amada Senior Care and the care that my father received during his time at home. Thank you so much to the professional & caring staff.
