The Senior Soup

Welcome to The Senior Soup at Amada Silver Spring! This is where you’ll find the most up-to-date information about community resources that are available to help seniors age successfully at home. In addition, The Senior Soup serves to empower seniors and their families in making critical decisions throughout the senior care journey.

Meet the 'Chefs' at The Senior Soup!

The Senior Soup is a senior resource news hub co-founded by Raquel Micit, owner of Amada Senior Care Silver Spring,
and Ryan Miner, community relations manager for Ennoble Care. Raquel and Ryan look to provide key aging-related resources for DMV seniors and their families via The Senior Soup Podcast and The Senior Soup Blog.

Raquel spent 15 years in pharmaceutical sales in senior-level positions, then decided to follow her passion into senior care where she can help aging seniors in need of non-medical assistance at home lead fulfilled lives. Ryan is a board member at SOAR (Supporting Older Adults through Resources) of Frederick County.
