Amada San Diego North Care Team

Anthony R. | Independent Living Facility Manager

Anthony is the proud son of Amada Senior Care San Diego North owners, Cherie and Jonathan Burrough. While officially joining the company nearly two years ago, Anthony has been immersed in the world of caregiving and business for much longer, observing firsthand what it takes to run a mission-driven organization that puts people first.

Currently serving as the Independent Living Facility Manager, Anthony oversees daily operations and care coordination to ensure every resident receives not just professional support, but warmth, dignity, and respect.

Anthony holds two Bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration Marketing and Management, a Master’s in Athletic Administration, and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Cloud and Network Engineering. He brings a rare combination of technical knowledge, business acumen, and people-centered leadership to everything he does.

Before entering senior care, Anthony was a Division I football player and team captain at Idaho State University, where he developed the discipline, toughness, and teamwork that guided his work today. His passions include fitness, learning, and creating meaningful relationships with both residents and caregivers.

Anthony lives by two quotes that have shaped his journey:

“Be comfortable being uncomfortable.”

“Those times when you get up early and you work hard; those times when you stay up late and work hard; those times when you don’t feel like working, you’re too tired, you don’t want to push yourself, but you do it anyways; that is actually the dream”

– Kobe Bryant

These words reflect his belief in pushing past limitations, staying disciplined, and always growing, both personally and professionally.
