Many veterans and their spouses don’t know they may be eligible for financial assistance to help cover in-home care. As an Accredited VA Provider, we handle all paperwork at no cost to you. When speaking with your VA Primary Care Physician, request Amada Senior Care Northwest Indiana as your designated caregiving provider.
Eligibility Requirements
Military Service
90+ days active duty with at least one day during wartime. Honorable discharge required.
Personal Care Needs
Currently requires help with daily activities such as walking, eating, toileting, or dressing.
Income & Assets
Majority of income spent on care expenses. The VA determines acceptable asset thresholds based on age and need.
