We have employed Amada Senior Care services for two months and continuing. The Caregivers arrive exactly on time, are neatly dressed and all have a kind, caring demeanor. My husband has become more mobile within this short period of time. The President Octavio Casado stays in touch with us to make sure everything is going well.

I originally contacted Amada Senior Care of Monterey Park to obtain a few hours a day of respite care for my sister, who was living in the house with my 90+ year old parents, giving them care in her every spare moment while also holding down a full-time job. Octavio was gracious and informative and said all the right things, but I took claims like, “I will personally step in to take shifts when needed,” and, “Contact me any time if you have questions,” as just the usual sales pitch hype. I underestimated Octavio’s commitment and sincerity, by a lot. Octavio is extremely generous with his time and knowledge. He is a treasure-trove of resource information, like how to make the most of in-home health care and nurse visits from the hospital, and what services and medical equipment may be covered by Medicare. Unfortunately, right during the time we were signing up with Amada and onboarding care for a few hours a day, my father was hospitalized for major surgery. By the time he came home, he needed full-time 24×7 care, which was far beyond what my sister could provide. Amada stepped right up without hesitation. With a can do attitude and a lot of personal shift hours provided by Octavio himself, we were able to transition from just a few hours a day to nearly 24×7. The caregivers are caring, attentive, and dedicated. Some of them are very experienced, with over 30+ years in care-giving service. All are eager to help and keep my parents healthy and safe. Laughter and smiles fill the house. I live far from my parent’s house and worry about how they are doing, but with Amada giving them care now, I have peace of mind that they are being cared for.

Very professional yet caring, helped find a good fit for our friend. Followed up with how she was doing when in the hospital and visited her. They are a great resource for when in home care is needed.

Octavio is always very helpful and in great comminication, they really care about their clients and providing excellent home care.

Amanda Senior Care is a life saver. They provide qualified care givers who are helpful. My husband has Parkinson’s and currently is unable to stand without help or walk with his walker. Our caregiver Christopher bathes him, dresses him, and help with other things like shaving. He does this with respect and attention to his needs. He engages him in conversation and even plays cards with him sometimes.. I would be lost if Octavio had not reached out to us and provided us with help. Thank you Amada for all you have done for us.

very empathetic, helpful and resourceful

Earlier last month when my sister needed to go back to Bay Area to arrange moving and other things, a nighttime caregiver for my dad could not continue, we urgently needed nighttime care services for that night and days after. When we reached out to Amada Home Care, Octavio did the paperwork very quickly and arranged the nighttime services on the same day. From the first time we talked over the phone, to the moment when Octavio himself appeared at the door, I honestly cannot think of anything he or anyone else could have done better. We used their services for over a week until my sister got back. They are certainly the first one to contact when we need help again.

I have been recovering from a fractured femur and have had excellent care from Amada Senior Care for the past 6 months. I am still working most days remotely and the caregivers are familiar with my daily activities. Their personal attention to my daily needs and schedules for Doctor and Physical Therapy appointments is on target. I can’t praise them enough for their outstanding service, friendship and interest in my care. The owners are available 24/7. I highly recommend them.

I live alone and needed someone to aid my recovery after my wisdom teeth surgery. In addition to the flexible scheduling and accommodations, Tavo and I had the best time getting to know each other. I payed for a service expecting standard care with food prep and a caregiver that would come in and out, but I received a companion that taught me family cooking recipes, life advice and a figure that felt like a second father.
