Updated review: After over 5 years we made the decision to relocate my mother to an assisted living facility. I don’t know if I could have done it without the help Lisa provided. She knew a number of local options and was able to suggest the best fit for my mom. Lisa also helped arrange the transfer and organized the process. Even after we moved she has been in touch to make sure the transition went well and to suggest improvements for the facility. I had no idea how much work this entailed, and I’m in the medical field myself. I highly recommend Amada both for in home care providers and for help with assisted living/nursing home options. We have been very happy with the service provided by this Amada location. They have arranged 24/7 caregivers for approximately 1.5 years with no major issues. The vast majority of the providers have been an excellent fit, and if there are any issues they are dealt with promptly. The owners are very responsive and always available.

I was referred to Lisa Waters at Amada Senior Care by a skilled nursing facility. I was in need of moving my 98 yr old mother for long term care after hip surgery. I cannot express in words how helpful Lisa was in every last aspect of providing care. She was available days, nights and weekends. Not only did Lisa provide me with options for LTC facilities, she was instrumental in setting up transportation service for my mother, had a hospital bed waiting at the new facility for us, worked hand in hand with the nursing facility to transfer the medical orders in a timely fashion, worked to get hospice started, and the list goes on and on. I am probably like most people who don’t know the ins and outs of senior care, facilities, Medicare, laws, etc. so having Lisa with the knowledge and connections to captain the ship was simply invaluable. At the end, my mother passed. I would imagine that most senior care consultants would “close the file,” but not Lisa! She stayed in contact, made sure there were no issues, jumped in and got involved to assist with a problem and kept reassuring that she was still here to help. In today’s world, it seems like finding someone who actually cares and wants to do the right thing for people is harder and harder to find. I am so happy that I found Lisa and Amada Senior Care at a time when I really needed it. I would HIGHLY recommend Amada for anyone looking for home health or a senior care consultant!!!

This company was sent to us from above!! Every single caregiver sent for the 24 hour care my precious daddy needed after his 2 week hospital stay was an absolute Angel! We knew home care was our only option to get him well without being quarantined from all the people who love him. I was skeptical of several of the options I was considering. When I found AMADA I almost instantly felt a peace that my Dad would be in great hands. Boy, was I right! Every caregiver loved on he and my mom the way we would. In just 2 weeks Dad was able to fully care for himself and was back to 100%! At nearly 86 years old, we prayed for just baseline! He exceeded that! Thanks to all our special caregivers. If you want your loved one HOME, safe and surrounded by all they know and love, call AMADA. You will be blessed!

When we chose AMADA Senior Care, we were hoping to get Dad back home and healthy without being quarantined in a nursing home rehab! We knew he would thrive with the family love and also the fine caregivers from Amada! We can’t recommend Amada more highly! They were such a blessing by helping him heal quickly! Just two weeks and he was able to care for himself! A special treat came on his last day of care!!! A man caregiver came for 12 hours and Roger enjoyed telling him his stories, and this man went with Dad to his favorite coffee shop! Then they went out to lunch! He walked more and loved the whole time with him! It was truly a great experience and we know it was the right company we chose to have come to our home! In the last 5 years. I have pulled on Alan and his team, for immediate care on my community. The caregivers are amazing and kind. The owners go above and beyond help. I will not use another personal homecare in my community.

Lisa W. was so helpful in managing a smooth transition for my dad leaving rehab. She was always available to answer calls and accommodated meeting my daughter for facility visits. I truly would not have been able to help my dad without her help!! Thank you so much!

Alan and Lisa are awesome, they’re approach when helping families is personable! What I think I’m like most about this team is that they take care management approach meaning they’re essentially social workers And even though that there an in home care agency they’re going to give you the best recommendations even if it doesn’t profit them
