Please do not recommend your loves one to this company. They’re Professional and very unorganized I know because have experienced it I’ll give Amanda a 1 star. Please don’t waste your time and money
Requested a caregiver at the very last minute and they accommodated me with someone to assist me with a brain injury and mental health disability resulting from disability, I gave him very clear indications on what it would be like . I told him it would be challenging the caregiver came to be with me she did a great job assisting me there didn’t seem to be any problems and then late that night I get a message saying that their caregiver didn’t feel trained in my unique medical condition and would not be coming back the next day when I was promised care. UNETHICAL to leave a patient who is alone without care who is physically disabled from brain injury with severe issues. I am completely dealing with dementia and severe neurological disabilities and they left me without care with literally two hours notice!! I understand they couldn’t continue the care because he didn’t feel they had the proper skills but leaving me with no care for 12 hours on a Sunday when I was assured care is absolutely unethical. Never use this company.
I entrust the daily care of my mother to the caregivers at Amada Senior Care in Farmington Hills, and have extremely positive things to say about them! The caregivers are prompt, dependable, kind, and very professional; and my mom looks forward to seeing one of them every morning. If it weren’t for these caring professionals, I don’t know how she would be surviving these very challenging Covid-19 times. This is a top notch business from the owners and office staff to the caregivers.

1. Military Service
- A minimum of 90 days of active duty, with at least one of those days during wartime.
- Must not have been dishonorable discharged.
2. Personal Care Needs
- Applicant must currently require assistance with activities of daily living, such as walking, eating, toileting, or dressing.
3.Income
- Majority of applicant’s income must currently be spent on care expenses.
- The percentage of income currently spent on care will determine the benefits they receive.
4.Assets
- The VA will determine an acceptable threshold for applicants’ assets.
- Determination of financial assets will depend upon age and financial need.
How VA Aid and Attendance Benefits can Help You:
