I have had Isabela and Acacia taking care of me for approximately six months. I have been so pleased with them that I have asked to please keep Isabela and Caci as my permanent care givers. They never act like they don’t like being with me or helping me with anything I might need.

Caregiver did everything that they were supposed to do love this company and I would recommend to others!

Called Amada on short notice after foot surgery when I realized that I couldn’t get around the house, and was essentially bed-ridden. Their caregivers were a godsend, heating meals, shopping, picking up prescriptions and driving me to doctor’s appointments. Their scheduling was remarkably flexible, and their caregivers friendly and compassionate. Couldn’t have gotten through the experience without them.

I work for Amada and I must say Jaden and John are the most caring people I have worked for till this day. They are very involved with each and every in need of services. They care not just only for everyone we care for , but they also care about all of us caregivers. All of the staff involved are always so spirited and make sure that I am ok as well. They praise me with what a good job I’ve done when warranted etc…. If you really would like caregivers that put real true effort to make each day an amazing experience, Amada is definitely it. I have worked for several companies through the years and I have never seen staff so hands on with clients and so far any caregiver I have worked with has been such a relief to know I am working with other caregivers who really care. Alexis is warm, personable and a terrific help, whether I’ve asked her to organize an area, cook a homemade meal, load laundry, clean/sweep, water my plants, open various jars or kindly drive me to an appointment. I appreciate having the assistance.

I would like to recommend Amada Senior Care – East Bay based on over a year of excellent service. My husband and I have hired care givers from numerous agencies over the past eight years. I can say without reservation that Amada is the most receptive and resourceful agency we have worked with during this time. Amada is the only agency where I have confidence that I can reach the owners and/or they will return my call within the day. It is rare to have access to the owners of an agency to discuss a myriad of issues such as schedule changes and emergent medical issues. Amada has been coming and taking care of my father, who is in a senior care facility. Every time one of the girls come I am so thankful that we have reached out to them to help with my Father. There is one gal, Linsey, every single time she comes, she gives 110%. He is immaculate and so is his Apartment when we come to see him after she has been there. We come even when she’s there, but she’s so good to have him out there and participating in anything that’s going on there. I highly encourage other people to try Amada.

Amada is very good with providing the necessary care for individuals because not one person is like another! They support their employees and that encourages greater response to stay as an employee and as care givers to offer ongoing excellent care!

We have been using Amada Senior Care for well over a year now and have been extremely satisfied with their service. They return text messages immediately, are able to provide extra care on a moments notice and are always very polite and attentive. John and his crew do an excellent job and have made our experience with our mother very peaceful.

I have been using Amada’s Senior Care services for my elderly 92 year-old parents for over two months now. The owner John and his son have been very helpful in getting our long-term care insurance policy started and are quick to respond when I need further help. They have a great team of caregivers that are both friendly and excellent in the services they can provide. The scheduling team is available any time – day or night via email or phone – and is very responsive and flexible in allowing for changes in the shifts as I typically need to drive a couple of hours to attend doctor appointments with my parents as they have a difficult time hearing and understanding things now. Because I usually end up spending a night or two on these occasions, I don’t need to have the caregiver there also which can easily be accommodated with at least 24-hour advance notice. I highly recommend Amada to anyone that needs the piece of mind knowing that their elderly parent(s) is being cared for like they were their own family. ❤️

The fact that they have extensive background checks and require their employees to have been in the industry for longer than most gave us confidence in hiring them! Researching home healthcare providers for my mom was a daunting task but we had such a positive experience with John Wu at Amada Senior Care. I recently took a chance on Amada Senior Care, and the service was excellent. I was worried about getting my 79 year old disabled mother caregiving assistance since she said she did not need a caregiver, however she was agreeable to housekeeping, pet care, meal prep, laundry help, and transportation for healthcare appointments. The owner John was extremely professional, helpful, and understanding, and collaborated with my input to present the senior care in a way which allowed my mom to be willing to accept the help. He skillfully matched a compatible caregiver after meeting with us and had prompt and considerate communication. The caregiver sent out to the first visit was great with my mom and helped her at home with everything she was struggling with before. My mom and I are very happy with the service and plan to continue using Amada care. I am a Physical Therapist and work full time in a nursing home, and I appreciate the very high quality of care brought to my mom demonstrated by the Amada Senior Care company. Thanks again.

They helped me with a same day need, with so much empathy and kindness, and quickly provided care for my parents after my dad had surgery. The caregiver not only helped to ensure my dad was recovering comfortably, but also helped my mom to feel less overwhelmed. My sister and I live far away and couldn’t be there, and I was so grateful for how quickly John worked on our request, how communicative he was, and most importantly how professional and wonderful the caregiver who went to my parents’ house was. I cried tears of gratitude after talking to my parents and knowing they were in good hands with Marlow. The whole experience from start to finish was exceptional. John and Jaden are an incredible father-son team. From my first phone call with John, I knew we were in good hands. His care and compassion for my mom and her condition with Alzheimer’s, as well as wanting to know how I am doing, was evident right away. His in-person visit to meet my mom and talk to me about her unique needs was comforting and reassuring. John was very thoughtful about choosing the right caretaker for my mom; the woman he paired with my mom was the perfect fit. Jaden was also on-site the first day to help with the onboarding of the caretaker. Jaden was so professional, caring, and kind–and helped me get out the door on time despite it being a hectic morning. The caretaker treated my mom like a friend and seemed to enjoy their time together laughing, singing, dancing, etc. My mom is mostly nonverbal so she was very clued into my mom’s emotional responses. (The prior company/caretaker didn’t have the same “soft touch” took a more condensending approach.) The caretaker even tidied up my home so it looked better than before I left. Truly amazing. My mom’s exact words after she left, “She’s nice!” (With a smile on her face and twinkle in her eye.) I highly recommend Amada Senior Care East Bay to anyone looking for a kind and capable team to care for your loved one with dementia/Alzheimer’s.

The people of Amada were very flexible, professional. Kind, and very patient when we really needed help with my dad. As the situation changed. They continued to be there for us and are still an immense help for my aunt as well.
