Serving Those Who Served: We Are Now a Credentialed VA Home Care Provider!

At Amada Senior Care of Duluth, our mission has always been to provide compassionate, high-quality care that allows individuals to age safely, comfortably, and with dignity in the comfort of their own homes. Today, we are incredibly proud and humbled to share a major milestone: We are officially credentialed as a community care provider with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA)!

This means we can now provide essential in-home care services to eligible local veterans, often at no out-of-pocket cost to them or their families.

What This Means for Our Local Veterans

For many veterans, daily tasks can become challenging due to chronic illness, disability, or the natural progression of aging. Our credentialing allows us to deliver professional Homemaker and Home Health Aide Services directly to their doorstep.

These services are designed to help veterans maintain their independence while providing peace of mind (and a much-needed break) for family caregivers.

Our Caregivers Assist With:

Personal Care: Support with bathing, grooming, dressing, and using the bathroom.

Mobility Assistance: Help transferring safely from bed to chair, walking, and preventing falls.

Daily Support: Light housekeeping, laundry, and preparing nutritious meals.

Companionship & Transport: Escorting veterans to medical appointments and providing meaningful social interaction.

Did you know? These services are not exclusive to elderly veterans. The VA’s home care benefits are designed to support eligible veterans of any age who need assistance with activities of daily living.

How to Access VA Home Care Benefits with Us

If you or a loved one is a veteran enrolled in the VA health care system, getting started is a straightforward process. Because the VA oversees and authorizes these extended care services, you will just need to take a few simple steps:

Speak to Your VA Primary Care Provider or Social Worker: Let them know you need assistance at home and would like to request Homemaker or Home Health Aide Services.

Request Amada Senior Care Duluth GA (NPI: 1437036423). Let your VA coordinator know that Amada is your preferred credentialed provider.

We Handle the Rest: Once the VA approves the referral and sends us the authorization, our registered nurse will coordinate with your VA team to design a personalized care plan and match you with the perfect caregiver.
