Non-medical caregiving for U.S. veterans includes a range of supportive services that enhance their daily lives and overall well-being. This can involve assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as meal preparation, housekeeping, transportation to appointments, and companionship to combat loneliness. Caregivers can also provide emotional support, help with managing schedules, and offer respite care for family members. Additionally, they may assist with errands, mobility support, and engaging veterans in social and recreational activities to promote a sense of community and purpose. These services ensure that veterans maintain their independence while receiving the care and attention they deserve.

As a Certified Senior Advisor, Gonzalo is proud to serve families living in Greater Atlanta as their advocate, providing guidance to the many decisions families face.

Gonzalo’s career began in biomedical engineering, where he contributed to the design of implantable medical devices.

He later transitioned into a global career in Sales, Operations, Procurement, and Supply Chain, which allowed him to travel and witness diverse cultures. He was particularly moved by the deep respect and reverence that different societies showed their elders.

However, it was a personal family crisis that solidified his commitment to senior care. When his own mother fell seriously ill with a rare virus, Gonzalo was faced with the challenge of managing her care from afar with his siblings. This experience gave him a profound understanding of the critical need for compassionate and reliable senior support.

Driven by this new passion, Gonzalo now dedicates his work to providing exceptional care for seniors, helping other families navigate the challenges he once faced.
