Group of very knowledgeable, kind, invested people interested in meeting the specific needs of families in Dallas. Their dedication to assisting my family find the appropriate care was phenomenal, and I highly reccomend Amada Senior Care.

LIFESAVERS!!!! I was in a tailspin after my 99-years-old grandfather’s health started to decline and I rapidly realized that not only would I need to move him into my house, I would have to care for him hands-on 24/7. It was particularly hard to figure out where to start and who to talk to at the VA since my Grandfather had quit using the VA hospital in 2021 and never applied for extra benefits after discharging from his service after WW2. Oh did I mention that my father’s health took a nosedive at the exact same time? Moving both of them in, quitting work and becoming a caretaker to TWO was more than I could possibly plan for or manage on my own. I was thankfully directed towards Amanda Senior Care. Guys, when I tell you they got a hospital bed, bedside commode, gait belts, raised toilet seat, and everything I was desperate for WITHIN 24HRS OF TALKING TO THEM completely free of charge. … I cried. Losing my income while gaining two more people in the house and no way to even BEGIN to figure out HOW to ask for assistance = blind panic. Amanda came through in such an immediate way! Then they walked me through the insane navigation you have to go through in order to deal with the VA. Jason really took his time and explained everything simply and sat w me while I called the VA so if I got stuck or my call transferred or whatever rigamarole they put me through; he made sure to keep me calm and guide me thru it. Amanda helped me get supplied the next day with BIG items and helped me get cases of everyday essentials shipped to me. Best of all y’all, they sent me my home healthcare aide Maggie!!! 🤍🤍🤍 She was the game changer. She came over a few days each week and would help me with ANYthing I needed. Cleaning ✔️ Laundry ✔️ Meals cooked and served ✔️ Companionship ✔️ Time off to relax or nap ✔️ Run errands ✔️ …. I even needed to change up her hours (w her permission) one day so she could be here for my grandfather while I went to a concert who’s tickets I had purchased last year!!! Also, my grandfather was not a “joiner” or social type guy. He really didn’t like strangers too much and especially hated the rehabilitation and nurse staff that would come in (they were AMAZING & insanely patient w him)… But Maggie? He really really liked her and looked forward to seeing her walk thru our door! I was shocked! She even sat with him the day before he died and read to him and sang to him (like his mother used to do). That *continues* to bring me comfort to this day. Bottom line is, I didn’t know what I was doing or where to turn especially caring for a man who HATED the VA. I never would have been able to care for my grandfather WITHOUT Amanda. Brad, Jason, & Maggie made it POSSIBLE to send this World War 2 Vet out with the dignity and compassion that he DESERVED! I’m forever grateful and wholeheartedly recommend them to ANYone needing ANY help with veteran services. This company… THESE PEOPLE actually CARE. It’s too rare these days. I can’t say enough about Jason and Eric with Amada CenTex. Best caregiving agency I’ve found in Waco, hands down! These guys really care and will go above and beyond the call of duty to help connect my patients with the VA services that they deserve.
