Amada Senior Care has been an incredible experience for our family. We were referred to them by our mom’s oncologist. Patrick and Magnolia came out for my mom’s assessment. They were wonderful. They pointed out things we would never have thought of. Our family made the decision to have Amada provide round the clock care. They have been providing care for our mom for the last 2.5 years and we are so grateful. I highly recommend their services to anyone searching for the best care possible for a family member.

I am a registered nurse and Team Leader at one of the largest hospice companies in the Greater Austin area. We’ve tried multiple caregiving companies and what we’ve found is Amada is the simply the best. Amada Senior Care provided amazing services for my grandmother at the end of her life. They were fast, responsive, and did absolutely everything we needed of them during that hard time. The fact that we could get ahold of management any hour of the day was a huge comfort to have. It wasn’t just some faceless voice on the other side of the phone – they actually SHOWED UP!! Which is so rare these days.

As an operator in senior living, Amada has been a tremendous support in my communities. Allowing residents support when they are not quite ready for assisted living, but are living independently. They have been a great partner over the years.

I had contracted with Amada Senior Care to meet me in my room at the hospital post-surgery and help me carry baggage to the car and drive me home. No show. I called and was told ETA was 1:00 pm. No show, I am sitting outside waiting after being fully discharged, no show. I called and said if no one showed up in the next 10 minutes, I was calling UBER. No show. Finally as UBER arrived, so did an Amada Senior Care employee. She was furious that I had called UBER and proceeded to yell and scream and make a scene at the discharge driveway at St. David’s on E. 32nd. The UBER driver looked at me and said that lady is scary and creating such a scene! We left, and I will never use this horrible company again. Beware of the smooth talking owner/salesman.

We recently started working with Amada to help care for my mom, and we have been very happy with their support. Our needs have fluctuated—sometimes on a daily basis—and Ama has been an absolute pro at adjusting the schedule. She is delightful to work with. Highly recommend Amada!

Overnight care giver walked OUT at 8pm because she “can’t deal with pets” as we have a friendly sweet puppy. She wouldn’t tell us who would be coming or when. SEVEN phone calls trying to ask what was happening and who was coming to be a care giver WERE NEVER ANSWERED OR REPLIED… This is not professional and worse is UNACCEPTABLE LEAVING MY HUSBAND WITHOUT A CARE GIVER AND NO REPLY WHEN A CARE GIVER WILL APPEAR…. NOT RECCOMMENDED.

I just started working with Amada. My sister is needing care, so I have been looking at several different companies. We are in a situation where we don’t know what we need or when we will need it. The owner Patrick came to our house and explained everything and was great. We have been working with Ama to schedule and we have had to make several changes because our situation changes daily since my sister is in the hospital. We don’t know when she will get out or what she will need. Amada has been great to just give us time to figure things out and be there when we need help. Ama alway returns my calls and I look forward to working with them to get great care for my sister.

Wonderful Experience! From the first contact, actually with a person, not just any person The Owner! Ms. Magnolia assisted me throughout the process of helping get my best friend situated. She was very friendly, knowledgeable and most important she really CARED! They offered every service imaginable which is imperative when you have a loved one in need, just having competent AND compassionate professionals throughout is amazing. Even after the “sale” they still care and the Business Manager came in and literally took care of all the financial issues and supported very detail.

I am very happy with the care Amada provides for my husband who has dementia. I love Evone, who takes him for walks and stimulates him all day. I also appreciate Deborah and Lillian who care for him with humor and patience. They are professional and well trained to care for him as he declines.

My mother has recently relocated to a new facility in the Austin area. She needed a little help with here medications. She was having trouble remembering to take them at certain times of the day. Amada was the perfect answer. They have been wonderful and very professional. I would recommend them to anyone who needs help with medication reminders, shower assistance or any other care needs.

I have had a incredible experience with Amada! I had another agency and they would not come on time if they showed up at all. Mariah has been fantastic. She helps me 5 days a week for about 8 hours or so. I highly recommend Amada Senior Care.

She helps her with her exercise’s, bathing, and cooking her meals. Working with Ama the office manager has been great also. Her communication has been excellent.

Everyone at Amada Senior Care has been fantastic! My dad has dementia. While I’m at work Karin our home health aid provides companionship and helps him with showers. She has established such a caring demeanor with him. Building trust with him is not the easiest thing. She is awesome. I highly recommend Amada to anyone.

Amada has done a exceptional job helping my wife. The rehab my wife was at referred us to Patrick at Amada. Our personal aids from Amada have been coming for around 9 months. They have been providing 8 hours of care on a daily basis. Ama their office manager has been terrific to work with. Their entire staff has been great to work with.

Amada Senior Care has an outstanding caregiver named Marlen Vega who excels in all aspects of caregiving. She performs all the basic duties but best of all she is a great morale builder for seniors.

Amada Senior Care have the best care takers! If you are looking for a company to trust with your loved one you have found it! My father LJ was diagnosed with prostate cancer which metastasized to into bone cancer. This is a very painful diagnoses and we had to bring in hospice which was a big help but Marlene with Amada Senior Care was his saving grace! Marlene always showed up on time with a loving positive attitude. In the words of my father she was his favorite! When she would bathe and change his bed sheets she was gentle and efficient. If there was a bed sore or any changes to His health she would bring it to my attention right away. She even brought things to my attention that the hospice nurses overlooked. You could tell she truly genuinely cared about her patient. It meant everything to me and she became my father’s friend in his final days. Always giving comfort and even praying with him because my father was very religious. Amada Senior Care is adorable too! They have many different levels of care based on your needs. (Cooking, cleaning, bathing) If you are looking for Care for not only your loved one, but yourself, I highly recommend Marlene. She is the BEST!! We interviewed several companies and went with Amada. We just felt they had the best program. They have been fantastic so far and have been a great help. Jenn our caregiver helps my mom with many of the things that needs to get done. The companionship has also been great. Jenn does a great job with helping her with showers and making sure she doesn’t fall.

Amada has done a great job with our dad! We are very pleased. We were referred to Patrick by the hospital my dad was at for his hip surgery. Amada’s care givers came in and really helped my dad recover. He’s 77 and is a fall risk. The caregivers help him with bathing, transfer’s, and cleaning the house. We could not have done it without them.
