Terrible terrible home health care agency that does NOT care about their employees. From management, the nurses like Oscar, and the schedulers AND the business coordinator in management. The ONLY thing that they care about is the clients and the money. The schedulers and practically ANYONE in management can get away with anything including being rude, insulting, and insensitive. They offer no incentives or grace and that’s why they’ll always be hiring. You don’t do people wrong that have not wronged you.
I have been working with Amada for a few years and I have been very happy with this agency. Tara is my social worker who helps organize my medical appointments and brings me to and from these visits. She also communicates with my children with updates from the doctors and the community I reside. Tara helps with any day-to-day needs I may have and has been a great support for me.
It’s always a joy to be with my care manager, Theresa. She takes me to all of my doctors appointments and I don’t know what I’d do without her. Having her in my corner brings me so much comfort and puts my mind at ease.

My family used Amada Senior Care for our dad in 2021 and we have come back in 2025 for our mom. We had experience with another agency and their caregivers and, honestly, there is no comparison. Amada’s intake staff (Logan, Erin, Oscar, et al) are incredibly professional and made a stressful experience MUCH less stressful. Oscar “got” my mom within five minutes of meeting her. The caregiver living with our mom is warm, caring, thoughtful, smart, and diligent. (Truly, there are not enough superlatives for her.) Most of all, she treats my mom with dignity. Amada was there for my family during one of the most difficult times of our lives. My mom, who is wheelchair-bound and has Alzheimer’s, suddenly needed full-time care while my father had to undergo emergency heart surgery. I want to share my incredibly positive experiences with Theresa Perez and Tara Zahorenko. Both have provided consistent compassionate care and support to my mother for over two years. My mother suffers from memory loss and her inability to successfully organize appointments and information has made the care of Theresa and Tara essential for her safety and well being. They are always patient and kind and great with follow up and any necessary coordination. They provide essential reminders to our mother and ensure that tests and appointments are scheduled and attended in a timely manner. They both have excellent provider/patient communication skills and provide invaluable peace of mind to family.

When ever you hire outside care giver agencies for care to a loved one, you never know who you will get. Obviously all are professionals (you hope) but a few people in any organization are a cut above. I guess before I said that I should have said, good hiring practices are key and Amada has done that with the care givers my mother was assigned. Can’t say enough about Elsa who went above and beyond to get my mom back on her feet after hospital stay and loosing weight. Isabella was also fantastic in every way. Bob & I became aware of Amada when we decided to sell our home and move to an Assisted Living several years ago. We explored a few places and decided to live at the Bristal. At the time, Fraser connected us to Amada and was an amazing asset in showing us all of the details of Assisted Living. He was so helpful and made the process so smooth. We were then introduced to Logan, who guided us through the financial piece. He reviewed our Long Term Care Insurance policy and helped us feel secure along the way. Logan then introduced us to Kyri, an amazing counselor who walked us through the whole process. She was invaluable. Later, we were introduced to Theresa & Tara – they met our every need. From doctor’s appointments to driving us to special events, they were always there to assist. They truly help us with everything in our day to day life and I don’t know what we would do without them. For two years Amada senior care has been supporting our elderly mom who lives in an independent living apartment at Thrive in Montvale. They have been great with her, and with us her family. Krista, an RN with Amada visits mom bi-weekly to check on any changes to her health, and to refill her meds box. Mom fell ill in December and was hospitalized. When she returned to Thrive, Amada worked with us to provide trained health aids to provide additional care for mom for only as long as was needed until she could resume her independent living status. Very happy with Amadas managers, schedulers and providers. Five stars.
Amada Senior Care has been life changing. I’ve been working with Tara, my care manager, for over a year. She continues to help with my comprehensive care during my recovery period. Tara manages and brings me to all my medical appointments. She makes me smile and gives me confidence.
Currently my 92 year old dad is being cared for by a stellar team from Amada Senior Care. He lives in an assisted living facility, but requires more “assistance”. With Erin’s help we put together a team that covers 13 hours a day, 7 days a week. Each carer has their own relationship with dad, and their best ways of working with him- they all cover basics but each almost has a “specialty”. From accompanying him to the hospital, and medical to watching sports and hair trims- Rina, David and Benata take such good care of dad that I secretly think of them as family because they are so thoughtful and caring.
I can not endorse Amada, particularly Fraser, enough. Under less than ideal circumstances and with an incredibly tight time line with complex requirements in play, he was able to arrange for memory care assisted living facilities for my mother. No small feat as we were moving her across the country. Fraser was able to quickly negotiate several options, mindful of our circumstances, and ultimately got her into a much higher quality of care than I expected us to be able to achieve. Amazing to work with.

I have nothing but good things to say about the team at Amada. They helped us navigate multiple aspects in a very sudden/difficult situation. The entire team was compassionate, informative and responsive to several questions. Logan provided us with an initial overview of their services and ultimately helped us with interpreting my parent’s long term care policies. He then referred us to Erin for a situation where my mom needed sudden nursing support. In the matter of hours, we were able to get aides on site as needed and get my mom the help she so needed. As we looked for a long term care solution, Fraser Holt was instrumental in helping us not only select the right care facility, but also ensuring we were able to move my mom in quickly as time was of the essence. Additionally, his insight on what language to include in agreements gave us peace of mind for what may happen down the line. Had it not been for the Amada team, I honestly do not believe we would have been able to navigate my mother’s care so quickly. I recently hired Amada Senior Care to provide services to a client in Wayne, NJ for daily care for a week. Hanan and Batou did a great job of assisting my client to become acclimated to her new move to an ALF and helped her to become familiar with the facility and services provided. Amada was very responsive to my calls and keeping updated about my client’s needs.
I have never left a review on google for anything. However, I felt compelled to in this instance because Fraser Holt has absolutely been a godsend for my family. He worked quickly and diligently to find a facility to place my father who is very uniquely ill for a man his age. Prior to meeting him, we spent years attempting to glean some type of help/advice regarding my father’s ailment and were consistently let down by doctors, insurance, etc. That immediately changed when I was, by luck and happenstance, placed in contact with Fraser. This man put me at ease and worked with me to find the best place to suit my father’s needs. Theresa Perez from Amada is everything that a Care Manager/Social Worker should be. She has been so kind, caring, intelligent and responsive. I met her when she began assisting myself and my husband whose health was deteriorating. I was extremely overwhelmed and it was time for me to make some difficult decisions. During this time, she so was helpful in taking charge of the situation in a relaxed, easy manner. I always felt secure and cared for when with her. There is nothing I have ever requested of her that she has not done well, willingly and with a smile on her face.
They are wonderful! Theresa and Tara provided care for my 95 year old dad. They provided so much joy to his life and you just can’t put a value on that. In my dad’s last week, they both sat by his side, read to him, and held his hand. I will never be able to express my gratitude for their loving companionship.
I can’t say enough good things about my experience working with Hannah from Amada Senior Care. From our first contact, Hannah was insightful, compassionate and incredibly knowledgeable. She had several recommendations for us by the next day and arranged for a tour where she accompanied me. She was a true advocate for my mom who has dementia. After deciding on a place that felt right, Hannah continued to assist with the details in the contract and stayed in touch right through my mom’s admission. My mom has been a resident at her new faculty for 3 months now and Hannah still checks in to see how my mom is doing and to make sure things are going well at the facility. This entire experience has very emotional and stressful and to have such a caring and knowledgeable advocate has been priceless.

From the very first time I felt relieved speaking with Hannah, and following her direction I was finally able to find the appropriate placement for my mom following hospital discharge.
