We have contracted with Amada for almost a year for in-home care for my 88 year old mother. Amada does light houskeeping and meal preparation. They also take her grocery shopping and of course, provide pleasant company. As we discontinued service with another company which we felt was less than satisfactory, we have a basis for comparison. 4.Assets
- The VA will determine an acceptable threshold for applicants’ assets.
- Determination of financial assets will depend upon age and financial need.
