Jeanine Nestor and Dave Zansitis, owners of Amada Senior Care Vero Beach, each have professional and personal experience caring for seniors in their homes. Jeanine is a Registered Nurse who worked for many years as a Visiting Nurse. She developed a passion for doing all she could to ensure her senior patients were able to maintain a high quality of life as they pursued aging in place in their own homes in a safe, healthy and nurturing environment. Jeanine, who assisted both her parents through hospice, truly understands the many benefits of in-home care and support that a trained caregiver can provides. She appreciates having her grandmother continue to enjoy a robust life as a result of caregiver assistance.
Dave is trained as a Respiratory Therapist and has experience in managing patients with a broad range of DME (durable medical equipment) and clinical needs related to respiratory and wound care management. He has helped several family members, including his parents, stay at home and later would navigate the health care system when being at home was no longer an option for them.
Jeanine and Dave have learned through their professional and personal experience there is no “one size fits all’ when it comes to senior care. Each takes the time to make personal on-site visits with the senior client and family to develop a customized care plan. As a Certified Senior Advisor, Jeanine will help identify solutions to meet the client’s physical, emotional and financial needs. If being at home is no longer an option, Jeanine and Dave will help the client and family find assisted living options that fit the client’s unique needs and preferences.

Jeanine and Dave have helped us provide extra care for our 93 year old mother while she recovers at a rehab facility from a fall. They work closely with the CNAs on duty and share information with us re our mother’s daily ups and downs The CNAs provided have been conscientious and caring and are sensitive to our mother’s needs. Jeanine and Dave are also amazingly prompt in responding to any emails or questions we submit.
Jeanine, the owner of Amada Vero Beach, personally helped us get through a challenging period. Thank you so much!
This is an emotional decision for everyone involved, and our goal at Amada Senior Care in Vero Beach is to guide families through the placement process with wisdom, empathy and competence.
For some seniors, an assisted living community, typically offering non-complex medical services, may be a good fit. Others may require a bit more support and may be better served in a nursing home or different type of care community.
The team at Amada Senior Care Vero Beach has years of experience with senior care in Sebastian, Vero Beach, Port St. Lucie, Fort Pierce, Stuart, Palm and surrounding communities. As a result, we have deep knowledge of all local care communities and can make sure our clients find the ideal placement to suit their care needs, locations, lifestyles, and budgets.
We also rely on our extensive experience to help our clients make full use of all benefits available to them, including veterans’ benefits and Long-Term Care Insurance benefits. The costs of assisted living may intimidate many families, but we can help them make financial decisions with confidence. To further ease cost concerns, the Amada Vero Beach team is pleased to offer its placement services free of charge.
When in-home care is no longer ideal for our clients, we are honored to guide them through this next phase. Our specialty is referring seniors to the right community or placement for them, which may include:
- Assisted living communities
- Large and small communities
- Independent living communities
- Board and care homes
- Adult family homes
- Senior care homes
- Skilled nursing facilities
- Alzheimer/dementia communities
Many of our veterans, their spouses and their families may not be aware of their potential eligibility for financial assistance from the government. At Amada Senior Care Vero Beach, we are dedicated to helping individuals eligible for VA Aid and Attendance benefits and other forms of financial support take full advantage of these resources.
