This month, we are honored to celebrate Megan<\/strong>, whose dedication, compassion, and commitment truly represent the heart of caregiving.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Megan is driven by a deep calling to serve, especially seniors in memory care. She consistently does more than what\u2019s asked, helping her client remain at home while bringing structure, encouragement, and joy to everyday life through routines, home cooked meals, exercise, conversation, and even a little help from the Statler Brothers playlist \ud83c\udfb6.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Her care supports not only her client, but also the family caregiver. Whether checking in, helping around the house, or always knowing where the phone is, Megan brings comfort, reassurance, and genuine kindness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Connecting Veterans to In-Home Care<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We are proud to support Twin Cities Veterans by hosting resource fairs, sponsoring recognition events, and participating in local support groups. One way we serve is through our presentation, Understanding Care-Based VA Benefits: A Practical Guide for Veterans and Their Families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This session helps Veterans and their loved ones understand key VA benefits, including home and community-based services, Aid & Attendance<\/a>, and general eligibility guidelines. Designed for caregivers, family members, and anyone supporting a Veteran, the presentation offers practical guidance to navigate available programs and connect Veterans with the care they\u2019ve earned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alzheimer\u2019s Association Walk to End Alzheimer\u2019s<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Alzheimer\u2019s has touched far too many families<\/a>, including many we serve and love. Our team remains committed to supporting the fight against Alzheimer\u2019s and all other forms of dementia, because every step forward brings hope, strength, and better care for those who need it most.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recently, our Amada Senior Care team participated in the Alzheimer\u2019s Association Walk to End Alzheimer\u2019s<\/a>, joining thousands across the community to raise funds for care, support, and groundbreaking research. Although the event has passed, our commitment continues year-round.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Supporting Access to Long-Term Care Insurance Benefits<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Thank you to those who joined us for our recent presentation, Making the Most of Your Long-Term Care Insurance (LTCI) benefits<\/a>. We explored key topics such as covered services, benefit limits, elimination periods, inflation riders, and what triggers coverage. Attendees also gained practical guidance on how to file a claim, what paperwork is required, and how to use their policy effectively for home care or assisted living.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
