Rewarding, Meaningful, Secure: The Shelton State × Amada Tuscaloosa $500 Senior Care Scholarship
Alabama is aging fast and the need for compassionate, skilled senior care has never been greater. Today, roughly one in six Alabamians is 65+ (close to 20% of the state). Most older adults want to age with dignity and remain at home, near their church, friends, and familiar routines, which is exactly where in-home caregivers and coordinated senior care services make the biggest difference.

At Amada Senior Care of Tuscaloosa, we’re investing in the next generation of care professionals. The Shelton State × Amada Tuscaloosa $500 Senior Care Scholarship supports students who see senior care not just as a job but as a calling and a smart career path with strong, long-term demand.
