Navigating the long- term healthcare system for our mom\/mother-in-law was extremely overwhelming, but Christina was a godsend.\n\nSpecifically, she went above and beyond in helping us understand our mom\/mother-in-law\u2019s coverage, ensured us that she would receive the correct help and also helped us complete and submit the long-term care claim form. \n I had the opportunity to work with Heather and her team during a very difficult time when my grandmother experienced a lapse in care and urgently needed full-time, in-home support. Being several states away made the situation even more challenging, as we needed immediate help and guidance through the transition to a memory care facility for her progressive dementia.\n\nHeather and her team were incredible\u2014compassionate, dedicated, and truly heart-centered. They ensured that everyone involved in this complex and sensitive situation was supported and informed every step of the way. \n For the better part of a year, Amada has provided round the clock care initially for my brother, who died recently, and then for his spouse, who is presently under hospice care. I have been and continue to be extremely pleased with the care provided by Amada, and recommend their services without reservation. Christina and Heather have been unfailingly responsive and accommodating when I have questions or requests. The caregivers Amada has provided have been caring and wonderful. Amada provided invaluable assistance in completing the claim processes to activate long term insurance claims to help with the cost of care. Most recently, they assisted with recommendations for a care facility, and have helped with a smooth transition to the care facility. I doubt there is another provider out there who does what Amada does, as well as they do it.\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

\n We were so lucky to find Amada Senior Care. I was given a list of care places by PCOA, and I called so many places, but Amada made a good impression. They went above board to help our needs and make sure our loved one was taken care of.\n\nWe hired Amada to help us with our aunt. She needed more than anything companionship. But we also needed help with bathing, reminding our aunt to take her pills, reminding her to eat, helping with dressing etc. We got Sam, who is the nicest person you will meet. Sam is so kind and hard woking, always doing something, always helping. We are forever grateful.\n\nOur aunt just moved to an assisted living home, and Amada helped us with the transition. \n They are friendly but it is near impossible to get them to reply to emails or call me back.\n\nEdit: Apparently email is not the way to go. Since this post they have really stepped up thier game and helped my family and I immensely. They even helped us get ahold of the insurance company (who were being quite difficult) and made sure all the paperwork my grandmother needed was put through properly. Just make sure you call\/text and let them know if you have to email documents and they’ll get it. Even with the initial rough patch I would highly recommend.\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

The number one reason we chose to go locally owned versus corporate\/national is when the owner is hands-on there can be flexibility that nationwide just can’t provide. Accommodating is Amada’s strength. Their owner is not only hands-on but has a heart, and is top notch. She is immediately responsive on negotiating the insurance end for her clients. And she is easy to be honest with. She’ll keep plugging away until a good fit is found for a caregiver and your parent\/client.
